NJ anyone?!?!

GOD Northeastern come to NJ already! I’m dying to know!!

@renul I’m in nj, haven’t heard back. I’m hoping to hear around 8 at the latest but I guess we’ll just wait and see.

I’m from new jersey and dying of anticipation.

I think someone posted that NJ will hear around 9pm :(

Can anyone explain to me why it says nothing about scholarships in my application decision? Does this mean I did not get one or is it because i have not put my SSN or CSS yet?

when does the west coast hear??

I’m in Oregon and checking my email every 10 seconds!!

Cant work on my HW… T^T

Summerrulez95: The CSS was due November 15th and yes you had to provide it to get financial aid.

@aviatoralex
So would that be why my scholarship information was not posted? When i called they said it was not necessary for scholarships only financial aid though?

i m from NJ! apparently now i cannot log on to check my status…

Hi Summerrulez95,
I was wondering the same thing as you. My D is valedictorian, 4.0 GPA, lots of APs and ECs, great essay, 2040 SAT…and no mention of merit $. We haven’t submitted FAFSA nor CSS. Please let me know if you hear of any explanation. Thanks!

Thanks, aviatoralex!
Should we submit the CSS asap or is it too late for merit $?

Um, I don’t think you had to file the CSS by the 15th of Nov for FA.

@Summerrulez95 I’m not talking about scholarship money per se, but I would think that the financial aid is somehow tied to it. Nevertheless don’t take my word for it.

Ugh, I’m in MD and haven’t heard anything yet!

Financial aid is different from the merit scholarships.

Undergraduate Scholarships
Northeastern University offers a wide range of scholarships to reward the outstanding achievements of incoming freshman students.

Students are not required to complete the financial aid applications to be considered for a merit-based scholarship.

last year MD didnt hear until midnight!

I submitted the CSS profile before December 1st, but there is no information regarding a tentative financial aid package?
