For the DBQ, i just wrote “DBQ Page 1” and “DBQ Page 2” and so on.

for the FRQs, I’m pretty sure that you can switch up the order as long as you numbered it correctly… not entirely sure though

On the top, I just put the number. The A,B, and C is to differentiate between sample essays since they’d all have the same number. (I THINK. Not sure, though.)

I thought the test of ok overall. How bad is it if I messed up one of my paragraphs on one of my FRQs? My argument doesn’t make much sense. Can I still get above a 7?

^Things like that can be really subjective, but if your overall essay is really good, you probably could still score a 5. The AP graders do allow for some mistakes

5 on the essay or the exam as a whole?

I was talking about your essay, but even with a 5 essay, it’s still very possible to score a 5 on the exam as a whole

Really, really BS-ed essay #4, but otherwise, I did a presentation on one of the mentioned in #7 so I thought #7 went pretty well. Oh, but #4 was really a great deal of b-s-ing…(thinking about it makes me cringe).

The DBQ I answered with 4 pages. Not too bad, I don’t think, the topic was. And the multiple choice! I ended up with fifteen minutes to spare…it was great Overall, better feeling than calc, whose free response I think I didn’t do so well upon.

I thought the Multiple Choice was tougher than I expected, but the DBQ was awesome because I was completely prepared for it due to have an essay about that topic assigned a few weeks ago. FRQs were unexpected, annoying, and tedious, but i’m confident I got a 4 or 5.

The MC wasn’t too hard or too easy…if I could eliminate one answer, I just guessed lol
(so I ended up not skipping any questions at all)

As for the FR, I thought the DBQ was ok but I should have pointed out more bias. The essays were meh…I did a good amount of bsing on #2 but I kind of knew what I was talking about on #7. I’m pretty sure I went out of the range of years they gave you though.

But I definitely feel less confident than I did last year for the AP US exam :(

Most of my friends (and I) found the MC to be incredibly simple, especially the question based on data, if you remember.

I don’t know if my evidence for #4 was out of the time period given, and half of #5 was just BSed based on the limited knowledge I had about the ________. Hopefully, the graders will like my comparison of Alexander II to Joseph II in my essay.

This might be because I’m a senior…but halfway doing the essays, my brain was like “gah, effort…I wonder what would happen if I left them all blank.” XD

I finished them anyways. Did FRQ 4 & 7. 7 was especially awesome because I know ****loads about those topics from random self-learning (not from the class). =D

So… how bad is it if I only have 2 paragraphs for the DBQ… As in, I had one distinct group, and then split the second paragraph into two groups (still same paragraph) but just under a generality… Am I screwed?

depends… how many pages was it?

@numero1 it depends on whether you had a 3 pronged thesis. But then agin, it also depeds on whether the graders see that you had the 3 groups instead of 2 or else the most you can get on your DBQ is a 5.

I thought the multiple choice was hard. I’ll be glad if I get late 40s /early 50s right since I only guessed on 16 so I would get that many points taken off. The DBQ was annoying but I’m sure I got a 9 on it. My FRQs were rushed. I did 3 and 7. I think I got a 7 or 8 and a 5 or 6 on them (respectively). I’m sure i got a high 4 at the very least. Hoping for a low 5.

JalliDalli, can you explain how you broke up 3 because I’m honestly having some doubts I even answered the question correctly.

It was around 4 and a half pages… I really hope they can see that I just put the last two groups in one paragraph under one big category. I’m pretty sure the distinction and transitions are clear, but it’s in one paragraph…

ahhh yesterday I was like “Yes 4 or 5 for sure!” Every minute my certainty has been declining… :/

Lmao, same here. I was sort of lost on the DBQ, my 3 groups sucked…

my three groups were social, political and economic lol.

It made sense though…

Oh and for essay 6, I BS’ed a lot. I said one group was much more organized and had a singular goal while the other group was disjointed with many opposing goals

I really hope that the curve is the same as last year because I am not too confident about my DBQ or FRQs. Multiple choice was not too hard though.
