<p>I have several things to say back but I will stop here. My point isn’t even about whether Archeology students are more likely to get accepted if they are on par with Economics students. People like to play with the chance of getting in, but some of them go too far. Worrying about how underrepresented major will affect your chance of getting in is what I call “too far”. If that’s you, you need to stop worrying about petty things. Just do your job, then everything else will follow.</p>
<p>I’m no expert, but I would like to point out that universities accept alot more students then they have spots for, since alot of students will end up enrolling somewhere else they got accepted. So, if you’re applying for a major that has a limited amount of spots, they will accept more students than the single digit figures you guys are talking about because alot of accepted kids will go elsewhere especially if it isn’t a prominent major at Cornell. That being said, the lower the yield rate of the incoming freshman class this year is, the higher chance we have as transfer students.</p>

<p>Are you sure about that? I’ve seen several posts by freshmen applicants claiming that they received a call telling them about their acceptance to ILR. I hope this is the case for transfers, too.</p>

<p>According to last years thread, I would guess you’re in! It seems that whoever could log into housing got accepted, but not being able to log in didn’t automatically mean rejected! I’d be surprised if you weren’t accepted based on your stats alone! Good luck :))</p>
