is that a good thing?!? I’m wondering if its that way for everyone…

hmm, i mean it DOES say “we look forward to seeing you in the fall” lol (wishful thinking i know)

I’m seeing the list as well, with “Return Admission Coupon” at the top.

Does anyone know what this means yet?

I don’t think it means anything =
It says we look forward to seeing you in the fall before you even have to log in.

I think we’re just massaging our egos at this point, running with any glimmer of hope that exists ha. Never hurts to be positive though!

On the to do list, go to “Parent/Guardian Address Request”

It takes me to a page with my full name a 7 digit CornellID below it.

Do they generate an actual CornellID for every applicant, in addition to the appID?

@Greg Fields I have that as well

Haha, I think we’re running with anything. They shouldn’t keep us waiting so long; it might actually be driving us insane.

@Greg,I see a Cornell ID under my full name on that form too. My guess would be that they do create that for everyone…as a tracking number for applicants.

Is Cornell actually possible to transfer into?
I thought Ivy Leagues were almost impossible to transfer into…

Cornell is actually a pretty transfer-friendly school, relatively speaking. That’s not to say that the acceptance rate is high, but it’s definitely possible!

would you guys apply again for spring transfer if it doesn’t work out this time? and do you know if its possible to reuse letters of rec?

@something12345 What school did you apply to?

not to be a creep but i feel like ill save you time by answering, almost positive he did CAS econ

@GregFields they must give ID numbers to all of us (unless we all got in!) because I see mine too- seems like everyone has one listed on that form. But who knows.

@Chris1992 I probably wouldn’t just because from what I foresee, there won’t be very much different about me on paper from now until next fall so I feel like it would be a waste of my time I guess if you were doing something really amazing over the summer, pulled straight A’s through this semester and started fall semester out with all A’s too, and maybe got like, some research published you could sort of reestablish your chances in a semester. But hopefully we all just get in… and find out SOON. Can’t take it!

@alyssa, yes that is true. i also feel like at some point it is time to suck it up and accept where we are and make happy at our school. hopefully that wont be the case! have you added the roommate fb page yet? or should we wait till we hear back? lol

oh and @something12345- Nice and early! I submitted mine pretty close to the deadline so I’m hoping that I still technically got in but they haven’t fully reviewed everything- sent my midterm just last week also. Wishful thinking right? How do you think your essays were? On the assumption you’re “in” on housing portal terms I’m trying to size my stats up to yours haha.

@Chris1992 True, it just stinks being in one place when you know you could actually be fulfilling your interests somewhere else. I haven’t yet only because I don’t want my friends to think I got in now then not end up getting in- embarrassing haha. You??

I applied to CAS Econ/Govt double major. Good luck everyoneeee

Have a feeling this is going to be the longest few weeks. Ever. Even longer than March was, if that’s possible. If I don’t get in, will forever live with the “What if I had just gone to Cornell as a freshman?” (well not forever, but at least for a few weeks before I get over it )

haha yeah…i added it to look at the page (figuring since its a closed group it wouldn’t show up on my page), well within minutes i got multiple texts asking if i got in. so i left the group again.
