@allwaswell3 That’s weird. I’d email Cornell ASAP and let them know of the situation. Some of posters have indicated that their applications were sent for review before they had the opportunity to send in their midterm report (it was technically due on March 1st, but it’s given a certain grace period as not all midterm grades are available before then).

@allwaswell3 wow that is so weird! I have never heard of that happening, all your teachers? You should try and get as any as you can, maybe even speak to a school counselor- also just like shockastrika83 said contact them asap

@rdlp123 thanks! haha I literally do the same thing every morning! sometimes even late at night because they update at around 2am westcoast time

I guess some ppl may be able to log into housing portal later. We will see. Good luck guys!

haha the housing portal myth continues. @MYOMOO I know you are just trying to be helpful but honestly the whole idea just creates panic. I witnessed last year’s thread freak out

Some applicants that received their acceptance letter were unable to log in to housing

Some applicants that were able to log in received rejection letters

The only confirmed truth about this myth is that it causes a lot of panic and stress throughout the forum.

If I can sign up for housing I’m going to register for next year and just show up in the Fall, regardless of the admission committee’s decision

@william95 That is a good idea.
@lanbernas Yes. But at least housing portal is a good sign. Are you guys breaking?

@MYOMOO not for the people who get rejected

so no elses application has still not yet been sent for review?

@lanbernas lol… That is right. I just keep checking. I think a lot of you guys are sophomore transfer, right?

@shockastrika83 I know it is a lot and a pretty intimidating number but my counselor is not blowing smoke. She got that number from very legit sources and would never tell me that if she did not truly believe that. It is her job to not stress me out during this process unless there are facts.

@giantsfan0824 I am not sure, they probably have some questions about my application, or it could be just broad questions. My first interview was pretty informal with Ian. My interview is tomorrow morning at 10:30 so I will let you all know what went down after. The best part about it is that I will be able to ask them when we are going to find out!

@holdenc Oh, I definitely believe you! That number’s just a bit discouraging Good luck with your interview!

Mine has been sent for review without the midterm report. Not sure what to make of this :/

Add me to the list–

CALS- Atmopsheric Sciences

Applying as a sophomore transfer. However, some things came up and I won’t be able to take all of the required classes for sophomore entry. If I AM accepted though, hopefully they can work with me and I can be admitted as a second semester freshman or something.

My application has also been sent for review. I must have been driving the admissions office nuts because I was calling nearly every day regarding my midterm report, registrar report, and required classes.

I’m probably not going to get in, but attending UOklahoma would be just as awesome because it’s the number one school for meteorology/atmospheric science.

I think I had a pretty good recommendation because my prior meteorology professor, who even went to Cornell, wrote it. We’ll see! :)

Also applied to UMaryland, UWashington, Penn State, and UOklahoma like I said above. Been accepted to Penn and UOklahoma as of now.

@holdenc if those are truly the stats then the program is exponentially more selective than i anticipated. oh boy

Any info on CALS AEM?

By the way, do you guys submit your SAT and subject test scores?

@MYOMOO yes- SAT: 2080 or 1430/1600 (Im not sure if they consider the writing score)

Ok I had my interview this morning with ILR. It was quick, just asking why ILR, and if I had any additions. They said that they have already weaved out the people who are not going to be accepted. At this point the students are qualified but they are looking for the right “match”. She said they are trying to differentiate between “ILR students and business students”. Not all people who will be accepted got an interview so do not worry if you did. She did say that the phone call meant they were interested, but if you did not receive one do not stress out. We will know between mid to late April.

@wellletshope

What college are you applying to?

My STATs
SAT: 2070… 1370/1600
GPA 3.94 finger crossing…
