same…10 am april 22th…

@cali2387 I dont think Cornell is a good fit for people with easy going personality.

Well, I was just informed that my parents are not contributing to my college education when I was told they would cover four years. They spent it all on a fancy new car that they totally didn’t need. They have almost a million dollars saved up for their retirement but still refuse to pay for anything.

But I mean, okay. At least I won’t be a burden to them. This means, though, that I will not be attending Cornell no matter what my decision is. Trying not to be too bummed out about this… life’s just throwing me a curveball.

I wonder if admission officers ever sign up for theee message boards just to ■■■■■ ppl.

^Oh Snap all the cat people be in trouble then.

@naylien try calling cornell and updating them about the unforseen circumstance, and maybe they’ll work with you :]
I’m sorry though! Homerun this curveball!

@Naylien Im so sorry I sent my comment above before I read yours. I didn’t mean to be insensitive. That is terrible. Perhaps you can get finaid and a student loan. I know that that is what Im getting.

@wellletshope Why are you calling me a ■■■■■? U shouldnt be saying things like that. It really hurts people’s feelings.

@CORNELLorDIE that comment was totally unrelated. I was just wondering if admissions officers do that, and not trying to say that your feelings toward Cornell are fake. Im sorry, I did not want to hurt your feelings. Im actually genuinely concerned about a scenario where you might not be admitted, and you might do something to yourself.

to the cals applicants who saw 10am april 22: what does your transeval page look like? mine doesn’t have my name or major.

@cali2387 I thought we already put the transeval issue to rest. Its full of glitches and it doesn’t mean anything (but yeah no major no name)

sorry, haven’t been reading through all of these.

Yea they said it doesn’t mean anything, but I have no name or major for what it’s worth.

@Naylien I am really sorry to hear that that sounds like a horrible situation. I hope things work out for you

@cali2387 So let me bring you up to speed. Two people had their name and major appear couple of days ago. However despite all the anticipation they did not receive their decisions. So one of them called the admissions office today and they told him/her that its a glitch and should not worry about it. Also, one of them had their housing website change and then change back. And now I believe even the transeval changed back. IDK

@CHEhopeful what is your major? I do not think you should give up hope! there is still a good chance you will get in CC just represents a small population of applicants, I would not be surprised if others were admitted a lot later!

From my experience, the one who patiently waits without getting too optimistic or pessimistic get admitted. It’s always talking people who get bad results. From now on, I am going to shut my mouth and just patiently wait for the result, trying to oppress my emotions as best as I can. But dont get me wrong, I am not referring to any of you guys at all, just saying. And @welletshope It’s okay. I think I just got sensitive lately. Im sorry too.

I would like to say that my cat gatsby <<< started this trend haha so if your bored you should check out and followw this funny instagram my friend made for him

Dagreatcatsby

anyway goodluck to everyone else waiting, I have my finders crossed for you guys!

The next comment I will be posting will be the decision. Good luck to everyone!

@CORNELLorDIE I really respect the amount of dedication you have for Cornell As a fellow believer, please remember that God has a wonderful plan for your life, which may or may not include Cornell right now. Remember that! It’s tough to lose something you love, but I assure you whatever happens is part of His plan. It’s going to be alright! Here, have some hot chocolate. ~O)
