I asked Collegeboard and they said that the essays are usually released a week after the scores are released. However, we all know that Collegeboard isn’t really consistent in their statements, so I’m just waiting to see what happens.
Also, @coolwhipped , I am not sure that the curve you posted for the reading is correct, because I got 2 wrong no omits, and I had a 780, not 790.
I think the math curve was super harsh. I got 4 wrong and 1 omission and a 690! For CR I got the exact same thing (4 wrong, one omission), and I got a 720!!!
@savvidavvi i got 4 wrong and skipped 1 too, but i got a 700. i think it depends on the type of questions you got wrong. ik for sure i skipped a multiple choice and got 2 of the fill-ins wrong (which 1/4 points arent deducted but simply count as skipped). maybe you got more of the multiple choice questions wrong, since those are deducted whereas fill-ins arent
also does anyone know what the answer to the writing question was when it said something like" " The beach at yadayada shows a striking phenomenon: the sand blows in the west and settles." It was something like that. Was the answer A with the colon?
regarding the reading curve, just subtract 20 from what you would normally get with that many wrong. i got 4 wrong which was usually 750, but on this test its 730
Good job man @alpha525 do you know which reading you got wrong? Also, is a score like that worth retaking to raise the reading score? I would think not right such a high score in one sittings impressive enough.
@vmiller7723 no i already took 3 tests. also, i know exactly what i got wrong. i thought 4 wrong was 740 so i called 2340 on the bottom of page 34 haha. so in a sense i knew my score
which reading did you get wrong? I got a 730 in writing too and I got the tactless vocab one wrong and I omitted one other vocab but I dont know which else I got wrong.
