<p>Did anyone else receive a letter from the STUDENT LOAN XPRESS asking you to confirm the eligibility of a possible low cost federal education loan? I'm naturally a bit wary of student loan offers as most of them are hoaxes but this one sounds kind of familiar, it's called the Federal PLUS loan. </p>

<p>...so is it valid? The more I look at it, the more I think it's some **** as I would assume legitimate loan offers would most likely come in a UCSD verified package...</p>

i thought it was some kind of ****.
one of my friends, who's going to cal state fullerton,
got that in her mail as well.
So....i don't think that is IT.</p>

<p>i got a scholarship like, last month. they sent it to me a while back, and then they requested i write a thank you letter too.</p>

<p>Documents Needed: DEPENDENT VERIFICATION WORKSHEET</p>

<p>I just e-mail'ed UCSD about this and will probably call them later today, too.</p>

<p>since i haven't gone to my home in san diego... i don't know if they are in the mail... i got them online through tritonlink or that thing....</p>

<p>the suckers cut my ucsd grant in half from what my preliminary package was and replaced it with loans! boo</p>
