Yeah! I contacted the admissions department via Facebook and they said they fixed that issue. I just hope to see it again in the next seven days.
NIHHIHH What was your scores and stuff? I heard that they would never do this by default because it’s so selective so we might have found a “leak” But not sure.
I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but you know the “you have been wait listed for transfer” and “you have been accepted to graduate blah blah” tabs show up too and I’m pretty sure I didn’t apply for transfer or graduate.

My ACT composite was 25 (Reading: 23, Math: 24, English: 25, Science: 28, Essay: 8).
My SAT composite was 1760 (Math: 620, Reading: 560, Writing: 580).
SAT Subject in Biology E: 620 and SAT Subject in Mathematics II: 640.
My Georgia Tech GPA: 4.2
Number of AP’s: 13
So yeah essays and awards are what I really had going for me. What were yours?

@NIHHIHH I think its a kind of low chance for you, sorry to say. They care a lot about test scores, since it is a public school. Hope that your essays and ec’s really stand out!
@iliveinmumbai look at this regarding the Georgia Tech Weighted GPA scale (Taken straight from the website):
Calculating Your GPA
We use a weighted 4.0 grading scale, including classes in the core areas of English, math, science, foreign language, and social science, and ALL AP, IB, or college-level classes. For students taking AP, IB, or college-level classes, we award an additional one-half point (0.5) for each course. Weight is not added for courses labeled Honors, Gifted, Magnet, etc.
Standard Grading Scale Weighted Grading Scale
A = 4.0 A = 4.5
B = 3.0 B = 3.5
C = 2.0 C = 2.5
D = 1.0 D = 1.5
F = 0.0 F = 0.0
@nagintapls I know they are pretty much the lowest scores they’ve probably ever seen but hopefully since it takes them three months to release decisions compared to UGA’s one month notification I’m pretty sure they review everyone’s applications fairly and holistically.

What do you guys think the odds are of Tech rescinding admission to those of us who messed with the tabs on Buzzport to show us an acceptance message?
NIHHIHH Are you a guy or girl? Sorry can’t tell by the name! And honestly, I know someone who made a 1810 last year who got in, and another person who made a 2250 who got rejected. My stats are about the same as yours but my SAT Math was a 680 which somewhat saved me! I feel like you have a fair chance

@istealhome I didn’t even think of that but I really hope not as even though I’ve been accepted to some other schools already I really want to add Georgia Tech to the list and @coocoo4curry I PM you the answer to your question.
They aren’t going to rescind someone for messing with the tabs.
Right now I’m at that phase where I know that the decision has already been made, but yet I just can’t stop worrying over it.
