What do guys think about this movie? How is it going to compare to the book? And more importantly, HP fans, how excited are you?!

I fanboy squealed when I saw the trailer.

That should tell you how excited I am.

I can’t wait! Isn’t this movie going to be in 3D IMAX as well? I am thinking about asking this girl out around that time, just so I can take her to see this movie in IMAX. We are both huge Harry Potter fans so I figured I would dazzle her on our first date

As a side note, it is interesting to watch the cast grow up as the series progressed. I watched The Sorcerers’s Stone last night and man does the cast look different. Series will definitely go down as one of the best series ever IMO.

I heard it’s not going to be in 3D anymore.

[No 3D for Harry Potter | News Provider](http://www.providingnews.com/no-3d-for-harry-potter.html)

Yep. It’s not going to be in 3-D. But the second movie will be though! I can’t wait until November 19!

Sad day I was planning a good night too.

Will it still be in IMAX though?

Harry Potter is one of the few movies I * have * to see every year. I can’t wait!

SO PSYCHED FOR HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART I! fangirl squeal

Can’t wait for November 19th! I think it will be a wonderful adaptation of the book - not necessarily a page-by-page reproduction, but a great movie in its own right that borrows the best of J.K. Rowling. And, I hate 3D movies anyway. The effects make me nauseous and the glasses feel stupid. Good for Warner Brothers not putting out a rushed and crappy-looking product. I’ll definitely be seeing it in standard 2D and IMAX, though. :D

Can’t wait! Disappointed with their not being any 3d release for the first film anymore, just seems like WB never fails to disappoint us in one way or another.

Unfortunately for me this will be my first year since Prisoner of Azkaban not seeing it at midnight, as I’ll be on a trip with my school’s Orchestra to Germany; so unless I can find a theater showing it in English, I’ve got a feeling I’ll have to wait a few painful days.

But at least they’re not putting out a crappy version and ruining what looks like an AMAZING movie!

When I saw the trailer, I was honest-to-god hyperventilating. IT LOOKS SO EFFING GOOD!

Harry Potter is my life. I am glad I have these two movies to look forward to now that the books are done. While of course it will fail to be even half as good as the book, I nonetheless am incredibly excited.

Am I the only one who is glad that it is not in 3D? The second part would be awesome in 3D though, with the battle and all!

Scenes I’m looking forward to:
The Silver Doe and Ron killing the locket
Gringotts break in.

Did not want 3-D. This is good. So excited, even though the 7th book was the worst.

^I agree with CranberryOrange

Btw, did you guys know they filmed Deathly Hallows straight through? It was like 7-8 hours long! I hope there isn’t an abrupt cut somewhere haha i would be mad!!

I’m glad it won’t be in 3D :)
