One more week. Aww shiet.

^^^^
That person is horrible. I can’t believe people actually enjoy doing things like that. I have wanted to go to Harvard all of my life and my heart jumped at the thought I might find out my future TODAY. That person must have s*** for brains doing such a ghastly thing to us devoted Harvardians.

peaceloveharvard

I totally agree with hahvahdpl0x Harvard has been my dream school my entire life. My dad always tells me my first word was Harvard. Tt’s brothers like you that keep it real.

respect.

^^see http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/columbia-university/1254367-official-columbia-early-decision-class-2016-results.html

Two of my friends got into Columbia! :D

The Columbia thread scares the heck out of me…
If that’s Columbia, I wonder what Harvard’s EA outcomes are going to look like. Oh boy.

@perry772: actually, Yale Fan is a sophomore at Harvard now hahaha

One week until one very important definition…on the bright side…my last 1 st semester of high school is almost done! Whoo-hoo! I am trying to appreciate the small things and find little victories.

the stats dont seem too bad… there were many rejections but not to superduper qualified people if u know what i mean

Most had 2300+! I’m talking about deferred, too.

Or maybe I misread.

@flyingtomato - I agree. Most of the the people who got rejected from Columbia had a significant weakness in their applications. Any guesses on how competitive Columbia ED will be compared to Harvard SCEA?

you have to expect many rejections/deferrals, especially with columbia (and harvard), but if they had serious credentials, they almost all got in

My frd accepted into cornell…arg…one more week for us

If my friend applied to one of these schools, but hasn’t told me if she got in or not, when would it not be obnoxious to ask her? I’m thinking tomorrow, but I’m also dying to know.

I’m talking about people like the URM(latino) who had a 2400 SAT, perfect subject tests, was the co-author of a book, and the owner of his/her own company. (S)he was rejected. Whaaaat.

^^Call her now. Either way, she needs someone to talk to.

Colleeinfo, I saw that too. There must have been a flaw somewhere. Later on a Hispanic with 2160 posted as being accepted

Sent from my LG-P509 using CC App

I’ve been lurking on here for quite a while…been too nervous to post anything yet, but HOLY ****, the Columbia thread scared me!

I’ve been refreshing the Columbia thread once every hour, and it kills me every time I see somebody will great ECs and awesome test scores get rejected. It just makes my doom more imminent //sob.

I’m not sure how I’m going to survive next week.

There’s got to have been something wrong with that app. Or maybe that just one really committed ■■■■■… Maybe he forgot something required… Here’s to hope for at least the next week.
