Official Harvard Waitlist Class of 2018

I got wait-listed as well. In addition, I am also on the wait-list at Stanford and WashU. I’m not too interested in getting off the wait-list at WashU, but I’m definitely eager to see if I could get off at Harvard and Stanford.

For now, I committed to Princeton, so whatever happens, I’ll be fine. :-)

.

So where will you guys be depositing on May 1?
I’m committing to USC in the meantime.

Committed to U Chicago and waiting on Harvard, Yale and Columbia.

Also waitlisted and committed to UCLA

waitlisted and committed to Yale! Does anyone know whether I should e-mail the Admissions Office in general or my regional admissions officer personally (I have her e-mail address) with the letter of intent/awards update?

committing to Penn. :)

And I share the same question. To whom should our letter of new information be sent to?

I heard it’s fine to send directly to the Admissions Office but maybe emailing your regional rep is a good idea.

Committed to Purdue Engineering

I was told by my interviewer to email my regional rep with updates.

Columbia
Anyone have any how many they’ll take off the waitlist this year?

I must be blind, but I can’t find where the contact information is for regional reps. Anyone mind sharing me a link?

Decided to take myself of the waitlist. Good luck everyone!

Son is taking his name off of waitlist for Harvard, Stanford and MIT. He now has committed to Cal Tech

Waitlisted at Harvard (as well as Columbia, CMU, Northwestern). A bit confused because my stats & XC’s are strong, but it is what it is. Right now I’m committed to Boston University with a full-ride scholarship :)

@TheArtistic. Acceptances from the waitlist vary from year to year, depending on the yield. The yield will be announced soon. I hope it isn’t that high this year crosses fingers.

Well, one spot just opened up: <a href=“Long Island wunderkind reveals he's going to Yale after being accepted to all eight Ivy League schools”>New York News - New York Daily News;

I was waitlisted as well. Committed to Northwestern but kept my name on the waitlist. Does anyone know what the deadline is to send additional materials to your regional representative?

There is no formal requirement to send anything besides the acceptance of a WL invitation. Thus, I seriously doubt any deadline exists at all. However, conventional wisdom says WL actions, if any, take place shortly after May 1. Take that for what it’s worth
