I got wait-listed as well. In addition, I am also on the wait-list at Stanford and WashU. I’m not too interested in getting off the wait-list at WashU, but I’m definitely eager to see if I could get off at Harvard and Stanford.

For now, I committed to Princeton, so whatever happens, I’ll be fine. :-)

waitlisted and committed to Yale! Does anyone know whether I should e-mail the Admissions Office in general or my regional admissions officer personally (I have her e-mail address) with the letter of intent/awards update?

Waitlisted at Harvard (as well as Columbia, CMU, Northwestern). A bit confused because my stats & XC’s are strong, but it is what it is. Right now I’m committed to Boston University with a full-ride scholarship :)

@TheArtistic. Acceptances from the waitlist vary from year to year, depending on the yield. The yield will be announced soon. I hope it isn’t that high this year crosses fingers.

I was waitlisted as well. Committed to Northwestern but kept my name on the waitlist. Does anyone know what the deadline is to send additional materials to your regional representative?

There is no formal requirement to send anything besides the acceptance of a WL invitation. Thus, I seriously doubt any deadline exists at all. However, conventional wisdom says WL actions, if any, take place shortly after May 1. Take that for what it’s worth
