Official January 22 SAT Thread. What's that? Only 3.25 weeks left? Let's get READY!

*2200
*To be the highest in my school and get accepted my MIT.
*Play Call of Duty all the time xD ( i never really have the temptation to practice except 1 day before the sat)
*I have no idea how im going to get it but it shouldnt be hard since i only need 40 more points
*Don’t do like me and get 1 stupid math mistake from the easy difficulty coz i got a stupid 770 and i wanted to kill myself for not getting a perfect score xD

 • In my school, 1800 is HIGH HIGH HIGH… CC makes it seem like its a FAIL :)

SAT Goal- 730 CR, I don’t really care about math. 1800 overall would be ideal.
*Why you want that goal.- I’m in seventh grade, so I’m not too stressed. I want the 730 so I’ll qualify for SET.
*What you did/are doing to get that goal.- Took a few practice tests, looked through some vocabulary, did the question of the day. Not much. xD
*How you’re going to get it.- I already took the test.
*An SAT tip based on CR, M, W, essay…- Don’t spend 15 minutes on the first paragraph of your essay. *grimace
*Fun fact.- Uhh… I took it for CTY? Not much fun about that, I guess.

*SAT Goal - 2300+ with ~750 cr
*Why you want that goal.- I’ve always struggled with CR, and my score has fluctuated from 680-780. It’s a bit scary. Also, I have gotten 800 in both writing and math, but never at the same time. It is, of course, a pretty idealistic goal.
*What you did/are doing to get that goal.- Took a full practice once a week and focused on cr and essay writing the last week.
*How you’re going to get it.- I already took the test.
*An SAT tip based on CR, M, W, essay…- Don’t drink too much tea or any beverage because you’ll be too distracted by your need to go to the bathroom for many sections. Also, don’t sharpen your pencils all the way because dull pencils will take about 5 circles to fill in a bubble while sharp pencils will take about 10 ;D
Now seriously: For CR, MARK THE TEXT. It helps a lot, and the time it takes is worth it, at least for me. For math, move quickly and be sure to check your answers. Careless mistakes haunt us the most. And for writing, don’t overanalyze.
*Fun fact.- COLLEGE CONFIDENTIAL IS EATING MY SOUL. I am too obsessed with figuring out what I got wrong. Get me off hereee ;_;

Cheers :D
