what do you guys think you got?

I thought it was pretty easy

I had problems with the time
and i couldnt go back to all the prblems i skipped!! i ended up omitting 11...

which questions did you have problems on?

can we discuss specific questions?

im not sure

I just couldn't finsih in time, I omitted 3 and only guessed on about, hmm, 20!
85 problems is too much for 1 hour.

Does anyone know which gas was least harmful when present in small quantities? I think it was #68, and the answer choices were like ammonia, CO2, SO2, NO2, and something else with sulfur.

Hm. I guessed on 10-ish. But they were easy..I just forgot. >< So I guess it was somewhat hard. XXDDD ><

The only question i remember was the molar volume one.
xD
Where it asked for the largest molar volume
and:
a)237 K, 1 atm or something
b)300 K, 1 atm
c)400 K, 1 atm
d)don't remember, 2 atm
3)600 k, 2 atm

and I got C) 400 K, 1 atm, since molar volume= 0.0821x400K/1atm <--which is the largest

superturt: That's what I got as well. I believe it was just a PV = nRT question.

@compscibeast: Hm. I chose CO2 because in the air-there are some small quantities of it..and we're fine..plus there are some CO2 in us as well..when we expel air...so yeah. XD >< dunno.

and um. the last choice was H2S.

@compscibeast: whoot! :) PV=nRT. yup. But when I was on this question. I forgot what molar volume was....and i was like: gah! is it V/n? or Vn? or n/V?!?!? XDDD but then I just thought that it might've been like T/P (to determine, since R is the same. and if it were P/T the molar volume would be too small. 1/237? etc? XDDDD). so yeah. i guessed C. how stupid of me--it was basic chem. ><

yeah I also put CO_2 for that one

so what will the curve be?

i thought it was pretty simple...i omitted ~10-11 questions (mostly all stoichiometry)..........cuz it takes a lot of time to do these w/o a calculator...and I din't really have time ..

oh and btw....i got c as well for that problem...

if you omitted 10-11 questions you SHOULD NOT be saying it was simple

For the true/false true/false CE section, almost all of my responses were either true true CE or false false

can anyone confirm this?

hey guys.

I heard the chem test is known to be brutal and i signed up for it on the next date. Im thinking of bailing out and just sticking to physics and later bio.
what is/are the hardest part(s)?

I got a couple of FT, I did get maybe 3/4 CES? and like 1/2 FFs
But not all of my answeres were either TTCE or FF cause thats highly unlikely on the test

do you remember any of the true-false questions?

I think I got 4 or 5 TTCE's. Don't remember any of the questions though.

anyone know the answer to a FT question about solution evaporating? The one saying that the solution (maybe) will be cooled down cause the particles with high kinetic energy (which is proportional to T) evaporates first.. i put it TTCE but others put TT or FT... any explanations?
and also the one with the isomers! i answered that (a)and(C) were isomers but my friends said the answer is none since (a) and (C) are not isomers but just "identical" ... dunno.. plz help me :D

Diana Oh: I put TTCE for that question as well. Not entirely sure about it, but the explanation made since. As for the isomers question, I remember one being a cis and another a trans? Not sure, but your friends might be right about that one.
