Because we need one. Post your questions; someone else able answers. (Questions can range from specific to general.)

I shall start.

Ahem.

For the organic chemistry portion, how would you tell the difference between an ester and an ether with regards to formulae?

The K (sub a) of CH3COOH is 2 * 10^-5. What is the pH of a 0.5 M solution of CH3COOH?

How pesky are the T/F questions to the rest of you? And for those of you who have tackled the test, how do you, um, tackle them?

when i took the test the T/T/CE part was the worst. I wasn't sure if you could leave stuff blank there and get 0 points (i think you can). They test basic stuff but to me that's the hardest...just make sure you know your polar/nonpolar stuff and general chemistry theories. Also make sure you go quickly....the first 20 questions are ez and then these hit you if i remember correctly and then it was a race for me to finish....ended up with a 790 i thought i did very poorly...but I guess the curve was nice so i was happy :)

Took it last June, go a 780. The T/F questions were not bad and it there wasn't anything I was not expecting. I don't know how I "tackled" them, I just did them.
