Thanks, man

No problem, and good luck!

I’m so worried! This is my first time taking it and I am pretty sure that I will have to take it again not because it was hard just because my typical score right now needs to improve, but it’s still nerve racking
Good luck to everyone!

Naviance has scores posted up already:
Overall: 2080
Math: 770
Writing: 650 (9 on essay)
Reading: 660

My first time taking it; overall pretty disappointed, I was shooting for at least a 2200 overall and for an 800 in math.

@zardichar

Any idea on how many MC you missed on WR and CR? Did you take the international or US test? Also, there was a question where a function was reflected over the y-axis. Where there 3 intersections?

By the way, still a very strong score, good job!

My school is lazy sighs but seriously good job for a first try. Really close to my first try.

@Tman1005

I don’t know how many I missed, Naviance only has scores. It did say I had 63 MC subscore; I’m not too sure what that means. I guess I’ll have to wait for a full score breakdown.

I took the US test. Not 100% sure on if there was a question like you mentioned, but I do vaguely remember an intersection problem and I believe the answer I got was 2. But as I said, I am nowhere near 100% sure.

CR: 800
Math: 740
Writing: 670
Essay: 8

This means you all can be pretty sure Math curve is -1 770, -2 740.

I aced CR.

Writing was brutal, I only missed one or two and yet my 8 bumped me down a ton! Going to work on my essay writing skills to get a solid superscore for March SAT.

@lepatron Are you sure you only missed 2 writing. If so, that would literally be the worst writing curve in history…
Great job on breaking 2200 though!

What was the curve for CR?

@Tman1005 not sure actually, let me know if you think you know how many I missed with my score and essay. And for CR not sure, I know I missed at least 1, but I could have missed 2. I’d safely say -1 and -2 are safe for an 800, at least.

Unless the writing curve was a monster, you most likely missed 4 for Writing according to the score calculator.

@lepatron

Damn, nice job on CR. I wish I could be that good at CR…

@lepatron

If you missed 3 MC, and had an 8 on the Essay, then the score distribution would be:

Score: 660 670 680 690 700
Chance: 2% 6% 36% 40% 15%

If you missed 4 MC and had an 8 Essay:

Score: 660 670 680 690
Chance: 21% 51% 15% 13%

So, assuming an average writing curve, I would say that you got 4 MC wrong…

Yup Etin and Tman are right.

^what da heck’s with this writing curve:?

can we talk about the horrible math curve jesus!

Wait dude did you omit 1 in Math?

@ThePariah doubt we got that lucky man. that would mean a -1 = 790, a cause for much celebration

4 more hours
