@baribari you’re right. We shouldn’t be wasting our time stressing over two forms which could possibly mean nothing. Good Luck to all and I hope your weeks aren’t going to be too stressful
Who wants to say stats? 32 on act 4.0 UW gpa :>
Financial aid is processed differently than admissions so they are not indicative. People say the same thing every year.
@jkaz123 2100 on sat and 4.5303 weighted. fingers crossed
I’m so nervous…
My school doesn’t calculate GPA on the 4.0 scale, but from what I read online I think I would have a 4.0 unweighted and a 4.2 weighted (thank you, Freshman and Sophomore math teacher, who cared more about the mint plant he was cultivating in the back of the classroom than his students). Yeah, math was my lowest on the ACT but I ended up getting a 34 overall.
Also I am 100% filled with anxiety.
Yeah and my m wanted me to go for Biomedical engineering I took a look at my math grades and said haha nope.
Notice! I received the two documents but later they disappeared from my check list. I called the financial aid office and they said that it was a mistake on their part and that their systems had glitched. They also told me to wait on further notice or something? idk. But best of luck to all of you!
Did the documents get removed from anyone else’s portal
Yes! It most likely was just a glitch so as hard it is I think we should all try to forget about it. The only true indication is a letter on Friday. Really wish the glitch didn’t happen at all.
True, but waiting till Friday will take a long time
We’ve already waited this long.
My friend was denied from Columbia today. I feel for her D:
If like 2000 kids apply, are about half or a thousand kids accepted. I know they try to split half and half between ed and rd candidates
@TheUsual based on last year, about 30% of ED applicants were accepted
@Bruhwhatisthisscreenname @13626Lah did your two forms disappear as well?
So anxious… can’t believe the day is almost finally here!
@TheUsual It’s more like 25% are from ED
Basically waiting for my rejection on Friday!! Can’t wait!
@BreadCrumb lol same
about 2000-2100 kids a year apply for ED and about 500-600 get in. 20000-24000 kids apply RD and about 2000 get in which is a lot harder.
Same, like I love Hopkins but it’s so hard to get into
