im pretty sure the question asked to find the mean of the amount of rain when the temperature is above 81 degrees, and i think there were like 6 points. I thought the question said mean instead of median and i got like 63, so i just filled in 60 as my answer i think.

oh yeah sorry, it was above 81 degrees,

Wow I’m an idiot, I skimmed the question and did “when the temp is 81 degrees”

Above 81 makes a lot more sense. What a way to blow a gimme

I remember there was a question that asked for which graph(choice A-E) represented f(x<3)=0 and f(x+3)=x>3. Or something very similar to that^ , the answer was B I think.

and for the reflected rectangle question i think the answer is 8x^2 because it asked for the area including the reflected part, so it would be 4x for the long side times 2x (which is equal to y)

I got a graph that looked went on the x axis until (0,3) then it went up

Looked like this if you ignore the "o"s

So, I have a quick question… Was the second 25 min math section experimental? I think it had something a student attendance problem in it?

There was a question before the open ended questions. I think it was second to last. It was a graph and it asked would be x if it was shifted. I put -4 I think. Wrong?

i think so, i didnt have a question about student attendance. my experimental was writing

@mmatt

I got 4x^2 I think. The original rectangle was x by 2x, so when it was reflected it became 2x by 2x.

i thought the original was 2x by 2x

I think I really messed up on an open ended question. It asked for how many books or something a girl had left after she gave some to her friends. My answer was 1/8. But I don’t think it was supposed to be a fraction lol.

if thats the question i think it is the answer was 5/64

Then it wouldn’t have been a rectangle. I’m pretty sure it was originally x by 2x… I might be wrong though.

Wait, can experimentals be different topics for different people? I thought that they were all the same…

It was originally x by 2x. Then when you reflected it, it became 2x by 2x, thus it ended up with an area of 4x^2.

well that sucks

I put 2x^2 I think lol. I didn’t think the rectangles dimensions would change if it is reflected. Was this a real question or experimental?

real. also, do you remember what the exact question was for the one about parallel lines. the answer was 21. i cant remember if i put 21 for that or 35. the 35 mayve been on a practice test i took, but im not sure

Do you all think that .078 will be accepted as an alternative response to the 5x/64 question? The complete decimal is .078125. Will that be marked wrong?
