Official June 2012 SAT Math (US)

I really hope it’s the yellow color one… but i’m pretty sure it’s going to be the green… who knows :frowning: hopefully the texas question they’ll accept both answers
I and II
or I, II and III
for what i have heard sometimes they do that to questions that were not understood well.

anyone remember what the choices for the triangle question was? the answer was I and II but i want to make sure

also, what exactly was the parallel lines question asking? I don’t seem to remember that question…

dlee14: Fortunately for you I have a good memory. Triangle ABC with A being at the top of the triangle states that lines AB and AC are equal. Y is the degree measurement at the top of the triangle under point A and X and Z are on the triangle with X being on the left and Z being on the right. The question also states that 0 < Y < 90.

Here is the Question given the above information.

Which of the following must be true?
I. X = Z
II. X + Z > 90
III. X + Y < 90

I. and II. are true while III. isn’t. You’re Welcome

And can someone please tell me what -1 question on Multiple Choice and -1 Grid-In would yield in math? Will that equate to less than a 760? Thanks

Depends on the curve dude. Figure it out yourself.

does anyone remember if the X = Z, X+Z>90 or X+ Z <90 question was answer D? I know it was I and II, but I bubbled in D in a rush and can’t remmeber if I put it down right

do you guys remember if “2” was an answer choice for the question about how many points are in the triangle, where the answer was 4? i feel like i accidentally picked 2…

lol immense violation of the SAT rules

^ Sort of. What does it matter?

What was the answer to the one about decorating the box? I think the dimensions were 8 X 6.5 X 6.5 inches, cost of ribbon was $ 0.50 per foot, and $2.75 for paint. I think I said $6.25. That one might have been experimental though…

Any ideas as to what a -3 to-6 could be? Thanks!

670-740 is the range

hey guys does anyone remember the parallel lines question the answer was 21 and the when f(x)= 0 the answer is -4

@kboli, that was experimental i think

what was the parallel lines question?

What were the experimental questions, can anyone tell me some you remember thanks

Consolidate List of Answers, anyone??

I agree with swoony. WTH. Stop being lazy, just look back a few pages.

on the list of answers a few pages back, does “14” apply to the circumfrence/line segment question?

and do you guys think the curve will be lenient or harsh? There were some tough ones.

@Bannedhero.
FFS thank you. This kid has been asking the same question on every single June 2012 thread. In which I personally posted answer lists MULTIPLE times.
@rameshwar, the answer was 12. And the curve will probably be easy-medium. So -1 would be most likely a 780-790.
