(-4, -6) was my answer

Sin (pi/4) = cos (pi/4)

@Eric335, you can take the SAT Subject Tests again in October.

for the polynomial question, if it is to the 5th power, shouldnt it have 5 roots?

I think the one with two functions was like -x+7 all divided by 7 (or was it 8?). Not sure though.

I think it was all 3 for the sphere one

All divided by 8 I’m sure.

Not sure about the signs of the x and 7, but I think that’s right.

wait what was the difference between mean and median for that problem. It was so weird because the mean was 7.55 but the median was 8.5! Unless it was 8 then the answer would be .45 and that’s what i put

Sounds about right, all I remember is plugging in g(x) and the numbers canceled out and got 8x/8 = x I think, and agreeing with the difference between median and mean one!

Fairly sure the median was 8, there were 20 numbers in the set but if you count 9 down from the highest and 9 down from the lowest you are left with two 8s, average of that is 8.

what is 33. on that list?? I mean what was the problem?

The answer was 0.45, not 0.55. 0.55 wasn’t even a choice.

Changed to .45.
ahh. I know I got it right. Just couldn’t remember if it was .45 or .55.

And Yup. It was 8(mean)- 7.55(median)

For #50 (the matrix question)
Was there an option that had 4 x 5?
I know I either put 4 x 5 or 5 x 4

There was a question that listed five functions and asked which one was different, the answer was E

^ 5x4 was the answer

4 x 5 was a choice. I think 5 x 4 is correct, though.

Additionally for the A^5 question, one of the definitions of a polynomial is that the first coefficient cannot equal 0, doesn’t that mean that it should still be 1?

TY. Added the 5 functions question.

I also had 1.
But others got 0 by setting A as 0. I’m not sure if you could do that or not. Anyone care to add?

Is the five functions one you’re talking about the one that looked like this in different forms?

-3(t-2)(t-4)

I think that was the answer, all the other ones come out to be positive but this one was negative if you plugged t=1

I also had 1, heard a lot of 0s but would like to see a concrete explanation.

I got c for that one where the five functions were different. Granted, the answers could be scrambled, but I’m not sure.
