****OFFICIAL JUNE 2014 SAT MATH II THREAD****

Does anyone know if we’re allowed to use programs on the test? For example, I have a program on my TI-84 plus that gives me the general formulas for conics and allows me to graph specific conics. Am I able to use this on the exam? (I have a bad feeling about the answer)

On another note, I am really not looking forward to this. I took the test at the end of my sophomore year (I’m currently a senior about to graduate, applying to college in the fall) and got a 610, despite being in honors precalc at the time, being among the top 20 seniors in math competitions in my state, and getting a 740 on the math subsection of the SAT I… (I also got a 580 on chemistry despite taking the AP test and qualifying for college credit, so I think I just am predisposed to not do well on subject tests for some reason, haha)

^Honestly, you’re allowed to use the TI-84, and the chances of the proctor finding out (or caring) is slim to none. You’re ina grey area there.

Good luck, lads!

gonna use TI-83 Plus… ~~~

Does anyone have any free practice tests? I’ve already burned through both of my available ones…

Are you kidding with the TI-84? TI-89’s are allowed and I’ve seen them do some magical things.

I’ll be duel-wielding, one 84 Plus and one 89 Titanium. Non programmed, unfortunately. Although the solve, expand, and factor functions are extremely helpful, as is the limit function.

@akacesfan practice tests here: <a href=“SAT Math 2 Prep? - SAT Subject Test Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/1488686-sat-math-2-prep.html</a></p>

http://oi58.■■■■■■■.com/21dndle.jpg</a> wow. didn’t know people would go this far.

@avc118‌ I got a message from the same guy. He’s sending it to multiple people.

Report him. That’s cheating/extortion.

@mrnephew‌ report? how?

I don’t see anything to report him. I just gave him a BS excuse to not give him answers and he hasn’t replied at all.

Does anyone have any practice tests?

@DAIMYO‌ Someone posted a link to the McGraw Hill ones earlier in this thread.

am I ready for the Sat math II? I get like 640-670’s from the barrons

That’s like a 750-780ish score, I think.

I’m getting mid to high 600s on the Barron’s practice tests too… some of the questions are so hard

Again, don’t look at John Chung’s if you think Barron’s is hard. (And it is.)

Wait sorry, another question

I’m taking both Math II and Math I tomorrow, and I feel much more confident about Math II. Would it be better if I take that first, or do Math I first? Any input on what you find works best?

Best of luck to everyone :D
