****OFFICIAL JUNE 2014 SAT MATH II THREAD****

@mmephew i agreee

With the curve not being as high?

is there a trend that the math subject tests are usually easier in june? also what do you believe is the expected curve

Remember to get some sleep tonight! Good luck everyone!

Haha yeah, I should do that now.

And no, there’s no trend, but there is a trend that when one is hard, the next one’s easier.

Good night and good luck tomorrow everyone.

post here discuss

^ post there

How hard did you think it was?

i thought it was ok lol.

I didnt think it was that bad, but looking at the google doc, i made some dumb mistakes

So what do you all think of the test? How many did you omit? Which ones did you think were hard? What do you think the curve will be??

For question 40 (?) with the open box with square base and volume of 8, did you get 126? Or was 200 an option?

126 was the answer Calc BC guy here I used optimization

^ I got 126 too, but you can also make a function and find the minimum after you graph it.

What was the question about the circle with the same diameter as the sphere and how many of those circles you could form with points A and B?

Me and Aime guy put 1, other smart math guy put 0. I think its 1

i got 1 as well…

basically only 1 line can pass through the 2 same points, right?

wait someone add me to the google doc it’s denying me access :(

@vivivz‌
Thats what I think. My Calc BC friend is very adamant on zero though.

What’s the one with f(x) = g(x)(x-2) + r and the one with distinct primes?
