@amregysat for the the last grid in question about the functions, do you remember what it talked about? I don’t remember. And I think if you read the previous comments, the acreage question is 1 2 and 3.
@Pinguman123 Do you know if the word adept was matched with affability? I really need to know this b/c it will change my score radically
@amregysat Hey do you remember this question with 4 circles on a point and radius was 6. Asked us to find QS while QR and PR equal or something
@ekeroe no i can’t recall such a question. @anzagummy92 the last grid in question was the one that said f(x)=root25 *rootx and f(4x)=krootx and it asked about the value of K. and about the acreage question how could 3 work, remember it said “must” be true not "could!!! .
@amregysat I’m sorry but I still don’t get it. If it’s root 25, isn’t 5? So do you mean 5 rt(x)? Cuz I think I got 2 for the answer for that. And the acreage question, since they mentioned that the acreage shown above were US’s 5 biggest prdoucers, the smallest had to be smaller than like 0.8 b/c the smallest from the picture was like 0.8, thus 3 has to be right.
for the grid in question it’s asking for f(4x) so you are going to replace the x with 4x. f(4x)=root25*root4x=10x. for the acres question can you remember what choice 3 exactly said ?. it was like if there were at least 5 more producers…
Uhhh I don’t remember if I wrote 10 or 2… and for choice 3 I think it was like at least 5 more producers for the total amount of cotton in US.
@amregysat I remember some of the questions and I agree with them, but I forgot the others lol.
@anzagummy92 I have no idea; I don’t remember if I put “Affability” for anything (not saying I didn’t).
Will someone tell me why the heck do we get different test questions?
@Ekeroe : do you remember if there was any bar on top of the distance to be measured, on that circle question?
guys for more math questions check this thread http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1348139-official-june-2012-sat-math-us.html
@amregysat isnt the triangle sum letters 270?
@amregysat For the 3x+4y=240 question, I got 240. Sides were 100, 60, and 80 units in length.
@pinguman123 do you remember a 270 for the triangle three question?
@Suly99 If you are talking about a triangle that extended to 3 different ones (where you had to find 6 different angles’ sum), then I got 360.
Just found these posts by another user on the other thread:
3 triangles, 6 angles grid in question- 360
180 - (a+b) + 180 - (c+d) + 180 - (e+f) = 180
subtract and rearrange. you get 360.
The circle with triangle in it: 50pi-96
The one where g(x)=sq. rt (25x) and then g(4x)= k sq.rt (x). I put 10.
360 (3 triangles, a+b+c+d+e+f)
4 points
30 sqrt 3
6400
240 for the perimeter question
I II III for texas (general consensus, but still hotly debated)
I and III for divisible by 3
3 for the sequence one
-4
5/64
7(x+y+z) = 49p. x+z equals 5.
For the question about the graph shifted to the left two units I got -4, or A.
6w (second multiple choice)
$1.84
II and III for the mean questions (25 and 30)
2n+3p+5
40/x
|p| + |-r|
-3 for (x+1)^2 + k
D/2 for radius
For the one where it was circles on a line, I got 12
@ZGMFX42SDestiny I think it was 93 million but I don’t remember the question exactly
@Hannah69 @Suly99 Hey guys, I am from Egypt too.
Do any of you remember the question in a math section that said something like |p-(-r)| and it wanted something that was similar to that? I did it C, but I could be wrong though… If you can remember the question, please tell me what was it… That question really drives me crazy! I think I did something stupid, but I want to make sure
@Lolol99 maaaan it is a bit too late. I can barely remember the maths. Got a clue to the q ?
