@Hannah69 It was a mcq. What I can remember is that p and r are integers. What I really need to know is if it said that they were positive integers or not… The question wanted something similar to |p-(-r)| and one of the answers given were |p| - |r| and another one that was |p| + |-r|. Do you remember if it said that p and r were positive integers or it didn’t mention that?

Nothing to thank me for and am not sure but if you substitute positive/negative integers (which I did so I don’t think it stated anything bout positive /negative integers) you would get |p| + |-r|
But am really not your best guide. I suck at maths and I did terribly on June’s maths @Lolol99 btw how did you do on May’s?
@Hannah69 I think your answer is right. I also read that answer from someone else here. Anyway, this is my first time to take an SAT exam, so I didn’t enter May. But in June’s exam, I did well on Math and Reading was fine, but I did terrible in writing especially the essay. It may affect my score by much. But still I am hoping for 1550+, it is still my first time to take an SAT exam…

@Pinguman123 How did you come up with the X and Y sides on the 3x + 4y = 240, i didn’t really understand the question back then so i just substituted for x and y and since it was a right triangle with two sides on the XY plane i winded up with 120 because 3x40 + 4x30 = 240
@TripleKill I think the triangle was formed by the x-axis (which, when you plugged in y=0 into the equation, x was 80 units), the y-axis (which, when you plugged in x=0, y was 60 units), and the hypotenuse (sqrt(60^2 + 80^2) = 100 units). So 100+80+60 is 240 in the end.

I’m in grade 10, I messed up so badly I can’t believe myself! 
:(( :(( I got 1700 in may and I’ll not get any better in june. Legit sad right now, I studied so much for this test with no effect on my score :((
