Official June Sat All Critical Reading All Tests

It was so much easier in march on CC b/c there was only 1 test and we compiled like all of the answers by the evening :)

lol in may I firgued out there were 3 types and created 3 different forums before everything got crazy...this time I had to go see my gf so I couldn't come back home that fast and the forums were all over the place lol.

there was short cr passage and all i remember is that it was a vocab in context question, and i picked heady...ring any bells?

lol, i didn't even know there are 3 forms of tests, i took it in March before. That's why i didn't understand what ppl were talking about when they said they read something about government regulation

doesn't ring any bells. The question regarding the girl's attitude towards the audience... I picked "Dismissive", I hated the girl / grandmother passage ... I got a lot of those wrong. The tone/pitch section of animals was pretty simple. SC was really simple. Writing was incredibly easy.. I did put inimical for one of them...I think I put challenge for another one...One of the choices for one of them was "draconic"...I don't think I picked it though..I picked C or E...it was the only other one that made sense.

it was draconian
draconian means cruel or harsh

figures. Yeah, I also think the question regarding something about cats and the experiments with their eye sight (this was a Writing question)...I wasn't sure if it was " , although" or " ;although"

did anyone here have the test with CR passages on chinese (i think) calligraphy, spacefarer pidgin, travelling alone, etc/?

Oh wow, I think I got a mutant test - I don't remember any of these questions. At all. crap.

not one person on this thread has mentioned anything remotely near what i had!

i had the caribou, japanese poetry, van eyck art readings etc.

had that too hilovepie

Don't worry. So did I.

phew.

did you guys find that the vocab was laid on thicker than expected?
(i took the SATs in march and it seemed particularly emphasized on this test as opposed to the other one)

for the although thing for writing it was

;althrough
not
, although

anyway I agree the grandma/girl passage sucked ***

Anybody else had the porcupine woman on their test? What did you put for the assumption being made in the passage?

there was one passage about a civil rights activist and his daughter. One of the questions went something like.... the reader views her father as a _________. i put sycophant which i now know is wrong, fun, and i know one of the other answers was dilletante, also wrong. Does anyone remember the correct answer??

the right one was caricature

i remember laughing aloud when i saw draconian as a sentence completion...i wonder if i put it :/

was the answer to one of the last princess questions something about the girl's "temperment"? i had it down to that (choice E) and choice A.

Tsmallzxc do you remember any of the answer choices so i can try to recall what i put???
