760, should of reviewed more. should i retake for a higher score ?

If you have a 750 +, you should not retake. There is no reason too. THe only exception should be if you plan on taking AP Chem next year and are already studying for the AP.

700+ is okay for most schools, including most Ivies. 750+ would be ludicrous to retake.

They don’t give out prizes for 800s. If you like taking tests and have money to burn, go for it. Then again, maybe spend some time visiting campuses instead?

Generally how many can you miss and get an 800?

@Zizzle, I think generally about 2-3. This time it was ~4 I’d say.

I know I missed at least 6, so raw score of 77 and still got 800

I keep getting bad scores, 680 Chem, and 640 on Math 2 two times! WHat to do???

Because caltech only takes the best students. It doesnt have any affirmative action in its admissions policy. To get to Caltech you have to get 750+ or 800 for easier subjects tests like Chemistry.

Bigthink, you are correct; however, Caltech would rather see someone get an 800 on the first examination than someone retake a 790 for an 800.

Is a 700 acceptable for NYU?

700 is a decent score to send to NYU.

800.10 char :D

800, awww yeah.

Congrats to those getting 800. You are among the top 9%.

Guys should i retake my physics again i got 680.I actually didnt finish the exam,i did write the last 15 questions.I am the top physics student in my class,my grades in the class are all distinctions.

Your grade or rank in your class does not mean anything to the test, for all we know, your peers and your teacher maybe deficient in learning and teaching. I would say study hard and try to get a 700+, 680 isn’t too bad. It just seems bad on CC because everyone here is a Nobel prize winner.
