kriegs is a ■■■■■. Furda would not make such blatant grammatical errors in his email.

sooo nobody got an email today?

^^pvtejasvi, I do not understand this: Several days ago the admissions office told me that they were hoping to release the information by Wednesday. Then a day later, they changed their mind and instead of the specific Wednesday date when I called they said it would all be known before June 1. Now you are saying that you called them TODAY and they said e-mails would be arriving TODAY yet I dont see anyone receiving any e-mails other than some questionable claims. I am extemely confused at this point on what is going on.

^^^apatel_55, maybe he is really a ■■■■■ but what the F*** is wrong with the rest of the people who claim to have been accepted? Are they all ■■■■■■ and puppet accounts? I can not believe that someone can actually go through all this just to disrupt the forum and get on the nerves of already nerve-wrecked students, its just beyond my understanding. People if you are really ■■■■■■ do you not have a life that you do all these? What is the F**ing point?!!

To all those doubting, here is the housing e-mail they sent me today:

From:
cehouse@exchange.upenn.edu

UPenn Housing Application Started
Priority: Normal

You have started your housing application. You may edit and save your application as many times as you wish. Once you are finished and satisfied with your selections, you must “submit” the application in order for it to be processed. You may not revise it once it has been submitted.
Applications submitted after May 1 will be processed on a rolling basis beginning June 1.

I DON’T KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I CAN SAY THIS BUT I AM NOT A ■■■■■!!! AND IF YOU WANT TO PICK APART THAT E-MAIL FOR INCORRECT GRAMMAR THEN GO AHEAD AND DO IT! I’M NOT PATHETIC, AND I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH MY TIME THEN COME ON THIS FORUM AND START CHAOS. THE ONLY REASON I POSTED WAS TO TELL EVERYONE ON HERE THAT THEY STARTED TAKING PEOPLE OFF THE WAIT LIST.

Now that I got that off my chest, good luck to everyone who is still waiting. I have been reading these forums since the beginning of the admissions process, and they have provided me with a lot of great information. I posted in order to provide other hopeful Penn '13 with helpful information about the Wait List. Penn was my number one choice, and I am thrilled to get a chance to attend. I hope that everyone on here gets in, even the ones who keep calling me a “■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■.” And you STANFORD09, your post was uncalled for. I completely understand your frustration, but there is no need to include profanity in your post. I just love how the first time I ever post on College Confidential, I get BLASTED as a fake and a “■■■■■■■■ ■■■■■.” WE ALL NEED TO RELAX. This has been one of the most stressful times in our lives. If you don’t get off the Wait List, I am sure that you will love the school in which you enrolled. The Ivy League and Penn aren’t the be all and end all. I am sure that I would have loved the school in which I enrolled. This will be over soon, but don’t let your nerves overrule your good judgment.

It seems like a ■■■■■. Seriously.
“Your Patience has been rewarded.” and “the thick envelope is in the mail”?
It seems just too informal to be sent by the dean.
Not to mention that it is very unlikely that the official e-mail would contain grammatically wrong sentences.

Ok… another post…now i don’t know whether kriegs4790 says the truth or not.
But anyway, it will be over soon like he/she says.

kriegs470 - I believe you, dont take everything so seriously - the matter is very indefinite at the moment, you should understand why everyone doubts you though. And I think you already do.

Kriegs470 - congrats - I am sure you will make a great addition to the Upenn class of 2013

even if you are a ■■■■■, as everyone else claims, what does it matter? The fact is that the rest of us have not recieved our decisions.

To clear up this issue I will say that all we can do is wait and see. We have already done that from January to now, so why can’t we dothat for another week or another day?

Stanford09 - We are all in the same boat of confusion- everything is indefinite and up for debate. I am only hypothesizing, but it may be that the Upenn computer system might be down, like earlier this week when I was speaking on the phone with an admissions officer.

I have already mentioned the need for hope at this time and pushing on through your regular routines… I know it is frustrating, but there is no use for bickering at each other.

Do know this, that just by making it this far proves that you are all great students. You will all shine anywhere you go.

LAST OF ALL: GOOD LUCK! (It depends on luck, and fate now, just believe that all will happen for the better not the worse)

he is a ■■■■■, my only doubt or argument is that in his email he said

"Please go to Penn Admissions for your official letter of admission "

and “Penn Admissions” is a hyperlink, I though that when you copy paste something the hyperlinks are lost, so kriegs modified it

on the last email received by penn they actually said
"
Your decision can be viewed by going to:
https://www.admissions.upenn.edu/decisions/mydecision.php"

you see? no fancy hyperlink under other words

Well I believe kriegs because I got the exact same email yesterday. And I know it’s real because I just finished my housing application.

riiight, i believe you

:P funny how the most shady members of this forum got accepted to the waitlist, and didnt even bother to enlist themselves on the UPenn Wait List - 2009 (running tally) thread, oh yeah vitC i know you added yourself but on tuesday, the day you also got accepted

also vitc, mind if i ask you, what do you have against upenn?

lets see previous post from this ■■■■■

ITS SEEMS YOU ARE A FAN OF UPENN! congrats on getting accepted

Some students are so desperate that they feel the need to tell others to decline Penn so they can get in off the waitlist :O

yeah those places are slick… haha well congrats dude

that’s what I thought.

millhouse’s comment.

actually i think its too late to decline the waitlist status, the deadline was may 1 or something like that

what they actually want is to feel better after being rejected by all the cool ivy league universities that they thought they could get into and they try to play with waitlisted students feelings because they actually have a chance of getting accepted and they dont

Savvy21, Maybe he was posting all that about Upenn just to gather some posts in order to be taken seriously and not be suspected in anything. It all depends on in what time frame those things were posted.

Well Savvy21, with your grand 4 posts, I would be tempted to call you a ■■■■■. But I won’t because I’m obviously upset by people calling me a ■■■■■.

I accessed the following on the “Information for Matriculants” link when I log into Penn’s decision website. If this doesn’t settle it then you are the biggest skeptic I’ve ever known:

ETC, ETC, ETC

mm you have all the right to think im a ■■■■■ but that doesnt matter to me, im sorry if i offended you, but my doubt was born with the hyperlink thing i discussed earlier on this thread maybe im wrong but i also have the right to point it out, something that nobody has explained to me

and for me thats not evidence thats just copying text and maybe doing a bunch of little edits, anyone can get all those letters you just have to ask a friend that was accepted to give them to you and then edit, so sorry for me thats not evidence
