I was a little bummed though because admit-day was today?

<p>I know it’s still so early in the process but I so want to call them and find out when I’ll hear back 
I have to sign up for classes on april 15th at UT and I was kinda hoping to know by then so I wouldn’t have to create a schedule. I’m really nervousss but my college counselor told me UT is a top 30 university so the lower gpa will sorta be cancelled out but…who knows?! ok. I’ll stop rambling. I’m just the only one of my friends transferring so they have nooo idea what I’m going through haha :P</p>

<p>@kmart153 I think you should give them a call. I had no idea that my letter was in the mail until I called them and they told me. Even if they tell you that they haven’t come to a decision yet, they still may be able to give you some sort of estimate as to when you will hear back. I know the wait is horrible, but you will find out soon enough! :)</p>

I think I’ll just tell them that I have to sign up for classes at UT next week (which is true) so I was just wondering if they knew when I might hear back…I just don’t want to inadvertently **** them off haha. They seem to be all over the place with the people they accept that it’s hard to match myself with those accepted/rejected hahah. I did apply Jan 28th though so I am hoping that applying sorta early will help. Congrats again!!!</p>
<p>@kmart153- Honestly, the lady I spoke to was pretty mean haha, but others I talked to in the past were really friendly. They may not like hearing from us, but we paid the $60 application fee, and the reality is, I’m sure they would do the same thing in our situation. Give them a call tomorrow and if the person is a jerk just laugh it off. :)</p>
<p>@nick773 yeah I think I’ll call…I’ve had a variety of people too. I know it’s silly, but I fear angering them but…at the same time, I’d really like to know. I assume they either just got to my app or haven’t gotten to it yet-don’t they usually take like a week or two to go over? I’m considering waiting and calling on Monday when my deadline is more pressing so when I say “I gotta sign up for classes like tomorrow” it sounds better than being like “i have to sign up some time next week” y’know? It’s not like my calling them is going to speed anything along…though I so wish it would. I really want to go to LMU. I keep checking my email religiously to see if I get the “your MyAid has been updated” or w/e so I can see if I got in But alas, I’ll probably call tomorrow…can’t hurt, right?</p>
<p>@kmart153 haha…Orrr you could wait until Friday to call. That way you’re giving them two solid days to send you a notification, and if by that time they haven’t, you can call them up and see if they will let you know the following week. They have to be really close to reviewing, or already reviewed your application. I turned mine in at the last minute of the early priority, and you turned yours in the 28th? Not that far apart, especially since the majority submitted their app in March. I swear you will get that “your MyAid has been updated” email any day now!</p>
