Official March 2008 SAT CR Discussion

i seriously can't remember any of the frost questions except the ones mentioned. i feel like im forgetting everything about the test by the minute haha.

there was he was being elusive
he was competitive
and his impression were right
was there a vocab in context, extent or amount in that section?
how many more were there

also the narration 1st person was for wat
and was there something like universal truth?
and was there to bring in scientific explanation

was the 1st person narration to reveal peoples feelings motives
was the plants eat wrongs scientific intro...

also was the "herd "group"
negative or people cant think alone..

also frost passage started on q 10 did it got to 16,17,or 18?
how many q's did child stepfather bill box etc have

the narration one had to be b/c of emotions and motives b/c narrator kept describing how the father looked at mother, how they were "wrestling", how the mother wanted the box back, etc. right? also how the woman was uneasy as was the father how the bros didn't care...

and the plants eat rock had to be based scientifically or w/e
b/c she is not naive she goes on to explain how decomposesition works and is quite lucid, so she is leading into scientific discussion

unaffected would be nice if it was a choice. it read, disaffected, which is used in the saying,"the dissaffected masses". the answers was diffused, like a diffused bomb. the word diffused means softened. in this case, it applies because the writing is less florid

Haha it was unaffected.

wat were the other choices for diffused one?
was it two parts?
plz do u think narration was emotion/motive or events
why..

no it was not. it was dissaffected. i looked at it and asked all my friends. it was dissaffected. you made an error. sorry to break the news

jakeee
wat did u put for the narration one
and the one with scientific or naivity?

it was narration to show how events unfold first person and by the way, i have a photographic memory. i can read a book and tell you the 9th word on page 14. it was dissaffected

jake wat did u put for the other
like scientific intro
or naivity
"plants eat rocks"

u don't remember any of the other rob frost questions..were they particularly hard for you?
and do u remember wat u put for the last 2 passage political one
A or E

I don't know man ... the general consensus is unaffected.

i think i may have gotten that wrong, but i put naivity. there was some other part of the answer choice with the naive stuff that sounded like it fit

was it like an intro to the scinetific explanation that is in obvious exagerration?

look at how the word unaffected looks on this screen. now look at dissaffected. now remember which one was on the test. it was the choice all the way on the right. diffuse was below it, but a little to the left.

In the Frost one, im not so sure if "teacher" was the best choice. There was a better one. what was it?
