Thought it was relatively easy compared to the practice tests I took but I was more prepared this morning then I was when I took any practice tests.

In a (x,y,z) coordinate system, what does the equation x=1 represent?

a. a plane
b. i forget
c. a line
d. a point
e. a half space

did you get no possibilities for the one with the triangle and 42 degrees, yes, it is a plane, and lol, the first time I flipped to the math 1 exam and almost took that one. Did you get 150 degrees as the one that couldn't be for the theta and alpha question where both sin theta=.5 and cos alpha=.5

I think x=1 is a LINE........in the x,y co-ordinate system is is DEFINETLY a line.......so its remains the same in a 3-d environment too.....if an equattion can be represented in the y=mx+c format then it is a line......

no, you're only thinking in 2 dimensions. In 3 dimensions, you can still extend into the y and z dimensions. Just try to visualize it and you'll get it, its definitely a plane

No possiblities for the triangle one and 150 for that other one. So far so good! How many can we get wrong and still get an 800. The only one I know for sure I might have gotten wrong is that one about standard deviation. I had no idea how to do it.

i feel good about this test, i didn't skip one question, now, i'm gonna keep on surfing the web and check this forum like every 5 minutes, much easier than i expected, and had no time problems

that Q is a plane, I didn't have enought time to prep for this test so I think I did worse than I could have. I was also kinda pressed for time. I picked 150 for that cos+sin problem, and I picked 1 possiblity for that triangle cuz I was rushing haha.

I agree....that was the most random yet easy question.

How many do you think you can get wrong/omit to still get an 800? I left 3 blank and was unsure of a couple, so I'm banking on a good curve to get a good score.
