feel free to ask any q's for those who r taking it june 7

anyone try sparknotes tests?? how are they? Nobody has given me a straight answer.... if I am getting like 740-770, what should I expect on the real one?

lol stupid question here but i am not able to access any free tests for sparknotes....i created an account, but when i click on sat math lvl 2 tests it says i have to buy them for 4.95. can someone plz tell me how to take the test for free..thanks

Are they the same as the ones in the Sparknotes book?

yep they are the exact same ones as the book

sparknotes tests are very realistic, whatever your range is on the sn tests is realistic.

^ That's good.

I'm getting 750 - 770 on Barron's, and 700-710 on Meylani, but 800's on CB, Sparknotes, and PR.

I just go to Barnes and Noble and do the practice tests there... it's quiet, I feel more pressured to actually study there, and there's a TON of resources to use.

haha ur taking the same tests as me ush and math 2

could anyone tell me how to do limits

yep ush math 2

limits only the most basic questions appear on math lvl 2

basically plug the umber below th symbol into the equation and that is the number it is appraoching

T.T I never learned limits lol and i havent started studying for math yet. but what if the # is infinity how would i do that...

the limit of infinity is infinity

inifnity limit is infinity i think

does this test need a calculator? If so, I traded my ti84 in for a ti89 titanium, can I use that?

ya i have a ti89 titanium as well, and i believe it is allowed on the tests. Can someone also tell me whether the 2003 Pr book for math is any different from the recent edition. Are there any different topics covered, and are the tests any different? Thanks

I think you can pretty much get an 800 if you have PR and RUSH.

What I did is I skimmed through PR and specifically studied the topics that I didn't have down very well. It gives great explanations for all topics and then gives review questions to help you out. It also helps you anticipate what you're going to see on the real test.

Right now, I'm taking RUSH tests. I create notecards on different topics that I mess up (functions, inscribed triangles in circles, trig, etc.), and then write down what I need to know or focus on to correct those mistakes in those notecards.

Those two book have helped a lot. I'm already feeling improvement after just a bit of testing from RUSH.

When I'm done, I'm going to take the second timed PR test. I had a raw score of 42/50 on the first test, so the second practice test should show me how much I've improved from all the RUSH.

if you have a ti 89 titanium...
go to
f3> limit> plug in the equation, put x, then put what is the # you are going to.

if you dont have a ti89, factor it out, cancel out anything, then plug in the #.

^ plug the #? wat do you mean? do i plug it in manually or with a calculator? graph it?

With a calculator.

is what the limit is going to.

like.
what is the limit of X^2+6x-2 as X is approaching -5.
the # would be -5.
get it?
so if i were to plug this into a ti89, it would be.
lim((x^2+6x-2),X,-5)

by the way, does anyone know how to multiply matrixs using a ti89?

everytime i try to multiply a 2x2 matrix by a 2x3 matrix, it'll say error.
sobs :[

for example:
4 1
3 2

multiplied by

-12 1
7 0
3 8

i dont have a ti89 i have an 84 lol so i dunno how to do lim((x^2+6x-2),X,-5)
