Expected: 780-800

Recieved: 700

I am totally apalled by my score. I expected a lot better. I guess I will have to retake it.

My other two were low too:

Word Hist. 720
U.S. Hist 740

Expected: Low 700s, based on prep, but felt pretty confident after the test.

Received: 800 =D

i got a 750- which is right around where i wanted to be (well, maybe a little higher) but i expectedt this because for whatever reason i farted around on the easier half of the test (took too much time) and then didn't have time to deal with the mildly gruesome final fifth.

i know many of you might retake a 750, but i'm not aiming for a science school like you guys, though my ambition is still sky-high. i'm aiming for Yale, and to a certain extent, anything 750+ looks great.

my other scores:
Reasoning- 2360 (800W, 770CR, 790M)
U.S. History- 750
Physics- 780
Math IIC- 750

so, i am perfectly content.
well, maybe not perfectly, but well enough.

how did u get a 780 physics? That's what I need with my 800IIC And 790 French to at least have a chance at ivy's. Am I gonna get penalized for my 650 if i get 800 next time? (MIT just closed it doors to me!!!)

Darn, I got a 710. I am a Sophomore. If I retake as a Junior, will colleges put more weight on a higher score.

770 math ic
800 math iic

I thought barrons was useful for iic if you know what parts to skip. It had an excellent review. For ic I basically decided to take it the day before because I figured, hey, why not? the ic is actually more of a pain in the ass than iic.

expected: 730-750 (after looking at CC official's thread)
received: 750

For a person looknig to apply to very competitive colleges, is anything below 750 a retake? Should i retake my 750 for a Penn, GTown, WUSTL, etc?

My D did no prep, didn't know what to expect but said that IIC was "easy" and scored 800.

IIC was easy. 800 if your asian. if ur not then i don't know.

SAT 2s are very easy. US History 800, Writing 800, CHemistry 800, Biology 800

seems like everyone is crowing a bit so umm... :)

What are the percentile scores for this? The average SATII subject test is around 710 for Penn as of 2002.

800 on math IIc is easy.
All you need is TI-89's solve function.

I really need to work on my speed. I only got through 4/5ths of the test. I was suprised i got a 760, but i'll probably retake.

Speaking of which, will colleges value a first time 800 over a retake 800? Or will they consider them the same.

expected b4 taking it: 740
expected after taking it: 800
received: 800

expected: 800

receieved: no not yet :(

A friend of mine got to #43 and got a 790.

on the practice tests i remember you could miss about 5-6 or leave 7 blank and still have a shot at an 800
