Official May 2008 SAT discussion

4??? REALLY????? I'm soooo lucky!!! I spent so much time determining that it was not 3 that I didn't have time to think about what exactly was the answer so I simply put 4.

Edit: the snake question errrr... I know it wasn't transmit,of that I'm sure. I don't remember what I put. If anyone can remember the question and possibly the answers...

for the shaded circle did you guys get 9 pi/4?

yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, positive of that one. (9pi/4)

OHHH. yes i am an idiot. that makes so much more sense, rdarin

I read it missing the most babies detail. that explains why it was unsolvable to me

hey what did u guys get for the last sentence comp question in one of the section about Earth's craters and erosion

how did you get 9 pi/4?

hmmm does anybody remember what they got for the question like the 24 outfit choices, and which one is NOT a possible amount for the amount of shirts she had?

i put 5 as my answer.

5 here as well

9 pi/4 is correct

And the shirts question is 5 because 24 divided by 5 is not an integer.

apparently its paucity..theres a discussion in another thread about that one.

yup 5 as my answer & i put paucity for that one too

5 was the only number that didn't go into 24 w/o a remainder

ohhh yay i got 5 too. good...how hard was the passage one passage two about the rocks?!?!?!

I didn't think it was that bad, that was the graffiti one.

i didnt like that passage...I think i omitted one from it.

Does anyone remember the WEIRD question in Math with the xy-plane and the non-straight line crossing the x- and y-axis? Were we supposed to simply count the crossings? I didn't understand the question.

There was one question that I put "they both mentioned rocks" it sounded so stupid, but that's the only one that made sense.

for the question that was like, what do these soda cans found in the forest mean... does anybody remember what they put?
