@jsweets17 I don’t remember the passage explicitly stating that it was Virginia in the 1770s, but I do remember that it was about Alexander Hamilton, slavery v freedom, and a loyalist’s reply to hamilton. Do you remember what vocab sentences were in that experimental section?
@idoschool I put three only and genuinely think it is correct. Can’t possibly see how it is none. Can someone explain.
Median: “denoting or relating to a value or quantity lying at the midpoint of a frequency distribution of observed values or quantities, such that there is an equal probability of falling above or below it.”
What was the Picasso question, was that in the last part of the writing section? What was the musician one earlier in the section?
Correct
Tennis, I also put 3 only. I know there were 1000 numbers in the set and III said “half the values above 66”. By the definition of the mean that is correct. However…
Consider this data set.
1, 66, 66, 66, 66, 66, 66, 1000. It’s an even numbered set so do not mind the 992 missing data points. The median of this set is obviously 66. However, only one point is above the value…which leads me to believe that this question could be challenged (I intend to do so). The wording did not clarify if they wanted half the values above 66 in the median (1, 66, 66, 66 | 66, 66, 66, 1000) or if it was supposed to be a simple x>1000 sort of deal.
So far no one I have talked to has come up with a concrete answer. I also think there is a chance it was an experimental section; I think I had one too many math sections.
@idoschool it said “half or more” not half, which is why I picked 3 only.
Median* in the post above. Sorry
I really need to see the exact wording. I’m going solely off of memory which is stuffed with a thousand other mc questions.
Actually now that I think about it, I think it said “at least half” @idoschool
SO section 3 was the experimental section right?
Unhackable, I can’t get on that doc.
Tennis, If there was an at least or anything that gave any hint of 66 being in the possible range of numbers, then it was 3 only.
I heard people talking in my testing room that the May SAT has a curve due to students having AP testing the next week. Is this true? i highly doubt the SAT would do that
Not happening OSUbound. It will follow the same structure as SATs past.
My essay prompt was: does being loyal require unconditional support (something along the lines of that; the wording is about the same)
guys what do you think -6 or -7 would be for cr?
There was a question about a diamond being fitting AND (another adjective)…
what was the answer? o.o
it seemed like the original and removing the adverb worked…
By the way, isn’t the number of wrinkly yellow supposed to be 0…
i hope i did well
yup it was 0. no worries
Got it. Cheers unhackable.
