did you guys say that the actors were awestruck or contented
Yes, that -1 may have been a 0 tho
i said contented.
so if the absolute value is less than 1, then it either has to be a negative/positive fraction or 0
and so then just try every value it works lmao
Has anyone realized that the SAT is gradually changing its questions to transform itself into the 2016 SAT, the new SAT?
Anyone know which section was experimental? Was it the one with the two graphs?
Everyone has different experimental sections. Mine was math.
I omitted like 8 questions on CR cuz I didn’t understand wth the theater passage was about. should I cancel the score? I think I got about 4 wrong for each math and writing. I’m aiming for over 2000
Did you guys have four no errors on the writing section?
And for the last ten min section the very last question the park one, was it park as or only park?
Guys for the equilateral triangle and it asks u for BD. what did u guys put? I got 8
MODERATOR’S NOTE:
Which part of “Google Docs are not allowed” do you people not understand??? I come back from grabbing something to eat and have already had to ban two users. Please play by the rules.
For Math and Writing, these answers are generally right because there are rules that dictate what the right answer is. But for CR there are many different interpretations of the questions, so I honestly don’t think this is too helpful for predicting your CR score, other than the vocab part. Reason being is that I’ve only missed 2 in reading so far, but I’ve never broken 700 in CR on a practice test. Ever.
Math was like legit hard this time. I miss usually one on practice test, but on this one I could miss 2 to 4, potentially.
Writing was fairly tame. Probably missed one due to putting down 5 NE instead of 4, and maybe another depending on whether it was “park” or “park as”.
What was the answer to the question with the equilateral triangle and the length of BD? 8 or 16?
What was the one about the stitches? I got 0 < b < 500 but idk if that’s right. I pretty much bombed math this time.
@reppincollege1 It was 16. You knew that the small triangle had to be 30-60-90 since it was equilateral, and since the area given was 8(sqrt3), the base times the height had to be 16(sqrt3) (1/2bh), so because of 30-60-90, the shortest side was 4 and the medium side was 4sqrt3, making half of BD 8. Double that length and that’s how you get 16 for BD.
i’m pretty it was only park. like just park. i think.
could you give the full question or any key words to help me remember?
@Yakisoba ^^^
Does anyone know if the answers people get on these “OFFICIAL SAT 20XX” threads for CRITICAL READING, specifically, are consistent with what the actual answers? Like, within a 2 question margin of error or smt like that?
Did anyone else have the weird experimental carpooling apps writing section? I think it’s from the new sat
