Pretty sure about analogy.

i got paucity for the questions about venus? merecury? and erosion.

Hmm... I'm not quite sure how you all arrived at 4 babies born on that one day. The total was 89 babies. There are 30 days in June. If you have 4 babies born one day, then you could say there were 3 born the other 29 days.

3 babies x 29 days = 87 + the 4 babies = 91 = too many babies.

2 born on other 29 days = 58 babies + 31 babies (what I put) = 89 babies for the month of June.

And you can't have 2.93 babies born each day. So that rules out doing 89 - 4 babies = 85 babies/29 days = 2.93.
I could have interpreted the question completely wrong, but I'm not really sure...
What stinks is not being able to find out :(

EDIT: Oh wait, I guess you could have some days with 2 babies born... bummer.

i said antecedent. derivative makes it seem like the old was influenced by the new, which didn't make much sense

paucity was probably right.

wouldn't analogy be like a is to b as c is to d, the sentence was like, a miniseries is like an infomercial, by the time you decide you want to by the product, you've already logged too many hours in front of the television. idk

3 babies x 29 days = 87 + the 4 babies = 91 = too many babies.

so on some days less than 2 babies were born.

i got paucity (it was about the impression craters on venus suggesting erosion), i also got analogy

well. u can have 2 babies on 5 days and 3 babies on 25 days, therefore having 4 babies on the 15th.

what was the other word paired with antecedent?

what did u guys think of the essay?

27 days there were three babies born, 2 had 2 babies and the 15th had 4 babies.
27x3= 81
2x2= 4
4 on the 15th
81+4+4= 89

I put like AL Gore, transcendentalists, and Theodore Roosevelt.

What did you get for the guy comparing like Cult of Art or something to??

I think i put people (line 36)

dang i erased parochial and put contemporary...

i will never use the phrase contemporary issue again

i put people (line 36)

Yeah... I can't believe I got the babies ? wrong... It didn't even occur to me for some reason that there could be three different values for babies born per day instead of 2 (2, 3 or 4 vs. 3, 4). Wow...

silverdragon, you got the right answer, so it doesn't matter, but june only has 30 days.

i put people (line 36) as well.

essay was weird- couldn't think of a literary example so I used a personal and historical (Lowell Girls in Mass.) example and went in depth on them.

line 36 people

for the PAINT SHOP one

was it "People" or "Lamp-blah" the name?

I put (A) the name of guy from the passage2

how is it people?

the guy from the passage favored painted advertisement on nature

and that was what the cult of scenic value.

"people" were the ones that did not approve that.
