<p>i have a 750 on math and verbal, and a 700 on writing, a total of 2200. does the writing bring my whole SAT factor down in colleges eyes or is it good enough because its of slightly lower importance?</p>

<p>dcl you're perfectly fine...and i highly advise you not to retake, just worry on other stuff, and no the writing will not bring down your whole sat factor trust me.</p>

<p>Should I retake? That 710 in writing ****ed me off, especially because I know my essay sucked and I just was off that day. Or is my score okay for Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, etc.?I mean on the 1600 scale, it's a 1540 (add up math and cr). I just know my writing was not at all up to my potential. (I'm pretty sure math and CR i could bring up to 800s as well. Just don't know if another 4 hour test is worth it).</p>

W: 650, 10 on essay...big surprise there, I seriously thought my essay sucked</p>

<p>it's amazing that i thought my essay was good and better than my last 10 (just short) and i get a 7! some of you say your's sucked and got a 10...should i pay the fee to get it re-scored? a 9 would get me 760, a10 780, and so on instead of a 720.</p>
