"Any one got news on acceptances/deferrals/rejections from Bryn Mawr, Mt. Holyoke and Scripps? "

These are all all-women colleges right? Yikes, how can one study, or even live, without the interaction with opposite sexes…

Wesleyan University: 1 ( RBS: 1)
Colgate University : 2 (SXC: 1)
Bates College : 1 ( RBS:1)
VASSAR College: 1( BNKS: 1)
Middlebury College:1(BNKS:1)
Williams College:1 ( Nobel Academy:1 cc:diwas)
Bryn Mawr College:1 (RBS:1)

@specific Are you familiar to the fact that there are other colleges nearby those colleges? Like, Amherst, University of Massachusetts, and Smith are 15-20 minutes of walking distance to Mt.Holyoke? Also, students from Bryn Mawr can take classes in Swarthmore?
But even if a same sex college was secluded, people can “live”. To each is her own.

guys you have misspelled my highschool name…it is Novel Academy, Pokhara…

^^ I didn’t know that. Thank you for pointing that out…

^here is the list with your school name spelled correctly:

Wesleyan University: 1 ( RBS: 1)
Colgate University : 2 (SXC: 1)
Bates College : 1 ( RBS:1)
VASSAR College: 1( BNKS: 1)
Middlebury College:1(BNKS:1)
Williams College:1 ( Novel Academy, Pokhara:1 cc:diwas)
Bryn Mawr College:1 (RBS:1)

haha…thank you very much specific.

So,any acceptences to Trinity College?
If any plz update… Trinity is my RD college n it seems like they are not gonna take any Nepali this year…

None so far.

EyeAmMe, thank you!
I’m applying EDII to Bryn Mawr but chances seem low with the acceptance. BMC usually takes in just one student from Nepal. Oh, well sigh

And specific, yes, they are. But most are members of consortiums and/or students can always take classes at neighboring colleges so it’ll make a really small difference. I think an all-women college would still be a good idea; no need to dress up to impress, for instance-just imagine how much time will be saved. Also, we’re trying to get there to study, not to hook up and as far as making friends are concerned, as i said, neighbouring colleges :)

Also,
@specific: Why is Vassar typed in all-caps? Last time I checked, it was just a name, not an acronym. It hardly need to be written as ‘VASSAR’. Or maybe you (or whoever first wrote typed that way) did it because it IS after all such a sought after college. Whatever the reason might me, the caps make it look like you’re screaming the name in my head and…hurts to read that way. Just saying :)
