What day do they come out?
@ScaredofSchool Either Tuesday or Thursday. Thursday is the most likely date though.
I believe the date will be 3/17/17
@SergioCastenada No, it should be 3/16/17. They always release on Thursdays, though last year’s RD decisions were released on a Tuesday.
I think it is going to be the 15th because EA decisions were posted on that day and RD was posted the 15th last year too
every year rd decisions come out on tuesdays, for the past 5 years
@mayc16 That is not true whatsoever… look at post #129 on this thread. They were released on Monday’s, Wednesdays, and most recently, Thursdays.
RD came out march 15th last year, and march 17th (tuesday) a year before that. I checked the previous forums for RD 2020 and 2019.
There is no pattern, they will release them when they are ready. It will most likely be this week but it may not be so just chill!
@jhosk10 Please don’t tell students who have been waiting 6+ months for a decision to ‘chill’. You’d be this anxious too if you were in our situation.
Based on past years’ patterns, the remaining RD decisions will be coming out this week. The most likely day will be Thursday 3/16. The last few years decisions came out on Tuesdays but last December ED and EA decisions came out on consecutive Thursdays. On decision day decisions will be released in waves starting between 3 and 4 PM Eastern time. It starts with decisions for Massachusetts applicants, then New England, then moves south and west. West coast applicants may not receive decisions until 8 PM Eastern/5 PM Pacific. You will receive a generic email linking to your NU portal. If admitted there will be separate tabs for merit aid and need based aid. The latter only if all required documents have been submitted.
The possible decisions are:
Admit to Fall in Boston
Admit to NUIn
Waitlist
Deny
If offered NUIn it is a final decision. You cannot have it changed to a Fall in Boston admit.

@sml1234 I’m a prospective student who’s anticipating a decision this week, but even I agree with @jhosk10. Learning to control.stressnand anxiety does nothing but help us for future situations in life. Worrying about it won’t change the decision.
haven’t posted here, but im also an rd applicant to northeastern 2021!! im in-state, and visited the campus (officially and unofficially) a bunch of time, and im IN LOVE. can’t wait for the decisions!!
@sml1234 I am in this situation…I too have been waiting 6 months for decisions!
Hey guys,
I am an international student applying to NEU class of 2021. I study at a British School and I’m about to sit my A levels exams this June.
I sent both my GCSE grades and my Predicted A levels Grades ( A A B) Since I’m an international student they don’t require any SAT.
Also, I have a sibling currently studying at NEU. I have applied for the course Business Economics
I am just as anxious as you all are, but I was just wondering how being an international student and having a sibiling currently at NE affect my application. Does it help in anyway?
^ NEU really seems to live international students and they seem to admit a lot of kids from London. For NEU, your predicted A level grades are competitive based on what I have seen.
^ Any idea what sort of GCSE grades are good enough to get me admitted?
What did you have for GCSEs?
By way of reference, my son had 3 A-stars and 7 A’s on his GSCE’s which is a bit on the low side for the typical London kid applying to the USA. He was offered a $19k per scholarship to NEU.

I’m not applying from London. I’m applying from Dubai
