It’s quite evident @FemurBreaker is a (prohibited word, you know what I mean). It seems he has deliberately misspelled things. He claims to be from Kiribati, which is obviously an arbitrarily picked place. There’s no way anyone there could afford NU, as the average GDP per capita is less than $2000. Not to mention the two EDs, as well as the fact that Kiribati doesn’t have international schools. One of the funnier ones I’ve seen on here.
@user_464093@ned6767 they sent an email on March 13, and it said, "Your application to Cornell University has been reviewed by the admissions selection committee, and I am writing to let you know that you will be offered admission to Cornell. Although the Ivy League schools won’t officially notify students of their admission decisions until later this month, we wanted to share this good news with you now.
I hope this advance notice of your admission to Cornell will encourage you to learn more about this extraordinary institution. Our office will be reaching out to you in the coming weeks. I hope you will take advantage of the opportunity to connect, ask questions, and begin picturing yourself thriving within our community over the next four years. "
It’s a likely letter, they tell you that you got in, in advance, in hopes you’ll choose thier school.
Wow. You should have definitely been admitted. Who helped you, if anyone, with your application (strategy, writing, etc.)? There is always a way to get someone with those scores admitted.
You cannot apply to two schools ED. First of all, he would have to use 2 different application systems to get away with it because no application system allows him to apply to 2 ED schools. Secondly, the ED applications require a school official to sign a form stating that the student is only applying to 1 ED school and that the student knows that if they get admitted to that ED school they are required to go to that school and withdraw all other applications. So a school official would have to have been in on the scam.
