They might still come out today. It is only around 4:00 there right now, most schools release decisions at around 5:00 local time.

NU is on eastern time, not central

well i guess we have to anxiously wait for tomorrow :///

@potatoo Chicago is in the Central time zone. Definitely not in EDT.

NU is on Central Time. It could still be today, theoretically.

I still think it will be tomorrow, though.

even so, tomorrow is almost here!

^^ yes, Chicago is central time. So we COULD get them today, but I don’t think it’s likely

Not out yet, it’ll probably be tomorrow.
so nervous…

Yeah but the early decision results came out a little bit after 5

Yea I don’t think I’ll get my hw done tonight lol

If it isn’t out by 6:00CST then it isn’t coming out today.

no email…

Because schools are getting more and more applications is why I applied to 17. 4 safe, 6 target, 7 reach. I was able to spend the same amount of time on each application that I would have when my list only had 13 schools, but I ended up with extra time over winter break so applied to 4 more, which were two more safeties and two more reach. My parents decided that, to save us hundreds of dollars in travel expenses, we wouldn’t travel the country to visit a dozen schools. Rather, they asked me to apply to a few more now and then we would only visit the ones I had a genuine interest of attending in relation to all the other schools that accepted me. $100 in app fees is a lot less than airfare and hotel fees, since we live hundreds to thousands of miles away from most of the schools I’m interested in. That’s why I personally applied to 17 (: I thoroughly researched and have been researching all my schools since sophomore year. NU was the only school I ever officially visited, and I loved it which is why I ready don’t want to be waitlisted since I’m an HPME candidate

ugh. guess we have to wait until tomorrow

while we wait-- what school did everyone apply to/ what is your intended major?

Target schools and reach schools are really blurring for me now…They all seem so unpredictable these years.

I applied to SESP and am probably going to major in LOC with a minor in Spanish.

@WelsCool, As an HPME applicant, I am also dreading a waitlist from NU, but I hope both of us get good news!

Any Medill applicants?
