Official Northwestern University Transfer Thread

no news today?

Got my application ID...that's about it.

I need to submit my spring grades...I still haven't gotten an ID.

I turned in my application in march and still heard nothing from them so far...

Unless you all already made this connection...

Maybe those of us who don't have app ID's don't have one because our applications are not complete, as in spring grades haven't been received. Maybe?

Eh, I dunno.

I emailed someone for an application ID about three months ago and they sent me one right away.

Actually, no. What I did was click "Forgot my ID" or whatever, and it automatically sent me mine.

Hey, how did you do on ur SAT test?

I am thinking about transfering to NU..so it might help me

I finally got an email saying they don't have my college transcript and another transcript from a summer program that I did. I'm happy to hear. I already sent the college transcript or I requested to have it sent. Probably take care of the other tomorrow.

Decisions are out.

I was Accepted (even though i requested to have my application withdrawn a week ago??) Oh well, good luck to u guys.

CherryBlossom, I'm assuming that you didn't have to include spring grades? And when did you turn the whole app in?

I turned in my application 3 days before the deadline.

And no, i didn't submit my spring quarter grades. (my school goes by quarters)

I'm also a first year as well.

Wow. They must really not go by when you turn your app in at all. I think I got mine in late Feb. So, congrats Cherry (even though you're not going). You must have been a really stellar candidate

I just got my decision. I was accepted.

I am a rising junior with 3.95 GPA and 1460/1600 SAT. My application was submitted in February. I've heard that NU doesn't give any aid to first year transfers, so I have a biiiiiiig decision to make between NU and U of Rochester (29k a year, of which 8k will be given for 09-10).

Did the decisions come by email or by checking the website?

what?! people have decisions already? they just emailed me yesterday saying they were missing my high school transcript and that i'd need to get them in by june 4th.

Yeah how did you guys find out?

my decision came in snail mail, a big packet that said "congratulations". i don't know if other people else got theirs otherwise.

Congratulations to everyone who got in and condolences to those who didn't! I'm really curious as to who'll be here in the fall. If you want to meet up, let me know.

Wow. This is some fast turnaround.

So hold on did you all who are getting decisions turn in your spring grades or not?
