wait i got it was genetically connected for the corn one

@mindonmath no it wasn’t It specifically said in the 2nd paragraph- “they are genetically similar”

i said tedious

the passage with the girl and the house on sullivan island was not experimental @oxoxhawja3xoxo

was one of the answers something about how the girl did not want to punctuate or was it the one that said punctuation rules are difficult

I put depicting because the clause before that was past tense, speaking about the paintings he drew, so even thought the paintings still exist and they can “depict” in the present tense… depicting seemed safer, even though I think both are legitimately arguable

also can someone explain why its unequivocal and empirical for the two fill in the blank questions

@daniiiiis In your example, you used “each of which depicts” instead of “each of which depict”. The test used “depict” so it was wrong

■■■! For the corn one, I put smaller and less hearty because it said “even though they aren’t genetically linked, the had common chromosomes…”

@perspectiva pretty sure it’s “depicting”. the other answers say “each of them depict” instead of “each of them depicts”, so the other ones are wrong.

I put tedious because she said she was tired of constantly having to add them.

@APsooof
That’s what I put too.

I got 16 + 4 root 3 for that triangles with the square in the middle one though.

@satsuck it was she didn’t want to because it was boring. She specifically said “I know how to use them but I get bored”

what was the passages about punctuation question, author of Passage 2 would view the “niceties” mentioned by author of Passage 1 with… I put esteem for some reason

@satsuck

For the empirical one, the question went something like this:

Theoretical physics relies on abstract concepts, not ______ so it can’t be called a ______ science. The answer was ‘experiments, empirical’ since concepts are not empirical

i agree with “esteem”.

@PoopyMcGee12 oh that’s too bad…my weakness is when the correct answer still sounds bad

i put esteem as well

How about the one about the author of memoirs eschewing something? I don’t think it was veracity and vitriol, but am not sure

I put esteem as well.

Corn should be genetically linked, because it made a point of how tes-whatever does not resemble corn. Also it said nothing about less hardy
