***Official Nov 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

@Mmystic7 Aw that sucks BUT UGH IT WAS EASIER THAN OCTOBER? crying

I’m the most unlucky person ever seriously I could have taken it in November and not in October. ■■■

The curve might be worse though! Just think of January 2013 and -1 790 in CR…

Math and writing were really easy (the essay was a breeze), but the CR, in my opinion, was very challenging. The vocab was hard…

So mad that the reading was the only hard section. I’m gonna have 1400 W+M and a 560 in reading… Yes I am a horrible critical reader. So much for hitting 2000
Anyways predictions?
Math -0 omit 4
Writing -4(maybe -5)
Reading -12 to 15 so sad

Cr was ok (vocab was hard and the passage about the punctuation was dry)
Math was not bad. Grammar was easy but kinda tricky

Anyone remember any hard questions?

Essay topic was not challenging IMO, had some trouble with fill in the blank on CR though. Also, a few tough math questions. What was the answer to this:
Two circles have the same center. The smaller radius is 2 and the larger is 3. There is a tangent line on the smaller one and they want the length of it. I know it’s some abstract geometry concept but I can’t remember which one

I got A, 2root5

The vocab killed me

It’s just pi*r^2 . The two shaded in parts for together to make a single complete circle :p

LOL at the vocab. I memorized over 600 sat words and I still found the vocab hard and tricky. Especially that one question about George Washington withdrawing his troops. I hope that that was the experimental section.

@2400boii same !!!

What was the essay prompt, if I may ask? Praying that the awful October essay prompt was just a fluke and CB isn’t going to start putting out more prompts like that…

I had a writing experimental. Anyone else?

The math and writing were moderately easy. However the reading passages were dry and complicated

^i don’t recall that question… Experimental?

Glad I’m not the only one who thought CR was a little hard, especially vocab. What was the one about humans killing top ocean predators? “unprecedented…irrevocable”???

Why are there 23 questions for Critical Reading?
My estimates are -0 for Math, no idea for Writing, hopefully -4 to -5, and Critical Reading no idea as well, hopefully -4 to -5. A lady bug flew onto my desk near the end of the short Critical Reading section… I had all for the answers filled in, but it kind of broke my focus and made it harder to check my answers.

I had a reading experiemental. I almost started laughing when I found it. The SAT new reading almost mirrored stuff I heard about on the ACT
