What did you guys think?

Listening was easy to me.

Hated the umbrella passage ***?

Hated the umbrella passage ***?

I kept forgetting what the hell they had talked about during some of the conversations so I probably missed one or two for the listening.

listening was easy, i left 1 blank in the fill in the blanks passages, the one with the bicycles. what the hell kind of passage was the umbrella one? I put comical, because i thought it was ridiculous in a funny way, but it probably wasnt meant to be funny. hahah.

yeah i put comical the only one that made sense...and for the last image...what did the verb beginning with f mean?
sorry for the vague question.

and what did the store having a sale sell. i thought and answered household items but i was between that and clothes.

what's the predicted curve? -5 = 800, -6=790, etc...?

what was the answers to the one of the international company and the passage about the new style of paper (algodon)? also, what did you guys get for the definition of forjar?

cotton paper = save the forest (ahorrar/conservar el bosque) or whatever.
forjar = crear! (to create) "create strong minds" was the gist of it.

edit: im pretty sure the store sold household items because they were giving away free little game boards, vases, ect.

Did anybody else think some of the verb conjugations were deceptive/tricky

My assessment:
Listening: Pretty easy (the one with 4 questions I didn't completely understand, but whatev)
Vocab/grammar: Pretty tough (I know I suck at verbs, but the vocab. was actually hard compared to Baron's)
Reading: Pretty easy

...will consider practicing and taking it w/o listening in december...

What did you guys hope to get? What do you think you got?

Personally, I'm always looking for 700+, but I was nervous I'd actually end up closer to 600...hopefully the curve isn't too bad (giving me approx. 660-690ish,but it could go either way)

Listening: pretty easy
Vocab/grammar: kicked my ass.
paragraphs: kicked my ass
Reading: pretty easy.

For the very last question on the test, first I put parents but then I realized it was wrong but didn't have time to decide what was right. Glad i got the CREAR/FORJAR one right though! Do any of you know how that guy from one of the listening passages was traveling? like, boat, plane, bus, etc?

oh, and js1091, I agree about the store.

oh snap i said forjar was fundir!
the way the sentence was worded confused me... i guess forjar kind of sounds/looks like forge, which means create. hm should have been a better spanish detective! ha

anyway the listening part was deceptively easy, so im not sure how i did on that. the second part was moderately difficult, the third part was somewhat easy for me, and the last reading part was surprisingly hard considering i did best on that part in all my practice tests!!

ive heard the curve sucks, so im expecting about 650-700 ish?

yea, i'm hoping for over 650. I left about 10 blank though... anyone know the curve for last year?

Listening: easy

Vocab/grammar: pretty easy

paragraphs: not bad, but the bike on i think i got 1 wrong or so...did anyone put "avariguar de"? I didn't completely understand the sentence so i went with the only verb i knew. should have omitted.

Reading: not bad except the umbrella-loving guy one was awkward.

predict - hopefully 750+

in the listening section, does anyone remember when the guy was planning to leave on vacation?

Spanish w/ Listening:

85-82: 800
81-80: 790
79: 780
78-77: 770
76-75: 760
74-73: 750
72: 740
71: 730
70-69: 720
68: 710
67: 700
...
61: 650
53: 600

I wasn't sure about that one either. I think I put that he was going to leave on vacation in two days, and I said in a plane, but I'm not sure at all. Does anyone else remember what they put down?

I put two days and on plane too. He said that he would take a plane the following day, so I assumed that two days would make sense.
