FYI, I have applied to NYU very early, around October 10th. Maybe that helped in getting my deicison earlier than most of you guys. I received a UPS package yesterday that was sent from NYU admissions office on Dec. 6. My acceptance letter is dated Dec. 11, so I guess that means NYU just sent mine out earlier thinking that it might take a bit longer to get here (Toronto), which apparently did not. (Toronto and NYC is not that far away.. and they used express service from UPS so no wonder it arrived in a day) I have no intention to trick any of you guys, I just made this post out of pure excitement and to share it with you guys :). Oh and I did not receive any e-mails regarding my decision yet.

a friend of mine from my school, my grade, has already received her acceptance letter to gsp. She applied Early Decision. We both live in Long Island, New York. I haven't gotten anything though!

Wow, a lot of people on here are from Long Island too. xD I bet we'll all be receiving our ED letters soon. I think GSP sends them a little earlier though because they are given time to think if they want to go into GSP or not.

and for those of you who are still in doubt, here is the proof. (the blue box is there to hide my identity! :O) lol. Hope you guys get your decisions soon!

So that's what an acceptance letter for NYU looks like. I really hope I get a letter soon, and that I'm accepted. I've applied ED in Music Ed so I'm hoping the competition isn't as difficult, and that my academics (or my SATs not being amazing, rather) are made up for by my audition.

The mail should be here any moment... Ill let you guys know if I get something from nyu...

Mail just came... sorry folks... no letter :(

hey xian, was it a thick package? or just that letter?
you must feel so relieved...

I'm watching soccer while waiting for the mail, it's so bad. The mail doesn't get to me till about 3 and it's only 12. :(

Yeah, I'm waiting for the mail too. I don't think it'll come today, but I still need to know. At least Sunday will be a relief, since we know it won't come then.

And yes, was it a letter or thick package?
