"How has the admission process made you NOT want to go to the school even if accepted???"

You guys don't even know how bad it could get; check out the UMich thread....Lots of us have had apps in since early October, were told that early response would hear "early" and we still wait.......at least you know that you will hear one way or the other by next week....(at this point, with regard to Mich, I'm hoping for a rejection so I don't even have to decide when other stuff starts coming in!!!)...

i had a dream that i got accepted, but my mom hid the letter in the refridgerator and spilled juice on it.. then, because i didn't see it, i beat up the mailman, and ran from the cops... i hid under some bushes and found a kitten, then got lost in some weird carnival town with lots of camels.

haha, any interpretations? :P

(god, i'm pathetic.. wasting my snow day on this forum)

i live in upstate ny, and it is absolutely white outside. cant even see anything out the car or house window cuz of all of the snow. probably about 3-4 inches and it still comin dwn. i dk if mail gets slowed dwn by weather??

Hi, I am an Indian(as in from India) male from CT. I applied ED to NYU Coll. of Arts and Science. I have been stalking these forums for the past 3 days and I had almost come to accept that I wont get in. But this morning I didnt have school because of the snow storm and I went to get the mail and I GOT ACCEPED! YAY
My Stats: 1280/1910 on the SATs, 3.78/4.0 GPA, no sports just some clubs and honors.

I was thinking I was gonna get GSP'd because it seemed like all the students getting into CAS had like 1360-1500 SAT's and a crap load of stuff more than me...but it is definately not the case. Im sure all of you guys stressing out will do fine and get in...I hope to see you all next fall :)

Yeah its a freaking blizzard here in CT and i'm so anxious that i called the post office and asked if they were even gonna send out mail today, and he's like yeah the guy is on his way....ahhh any minute!!

p.s - my guidance counseler's son went to NYU, and he said the hardest part was getting in, and when you actually got IN, it was a breeze. Keep in mind this kid is not a hardcore studier either...how valid do you think that is?

haha yea...its snowing like crazy...i looked outside my window..saw tire marks and the distance between them were small so i realized it had to be the mail man so i went out and pulled out the surprise...
Thats how obsessive **** got for me...

i am from CT and i just got the mail and there was nothing. i was positive it was going to be today, but whatever. i had a snow day, so im hoping that might have slowed mail down a little.

I am tweaking and overcaffeinated. Everyone please update on the condition of your mail and where you're located. I'm in California and I don't even know how I'm going to deal with 24, let alone 48 more hours of this. (Wait till MONDAY? Kill me.)
