<p>i read over all the post on nyu forum..the admission ppl said the mails are not here b.c of bad weather...and they were all sent out at the same time...so if one person from my skool was accepted..then that means the rest of us also should have received our mail...unless that was completely b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t which at this point i believe so....</p>

<p>Thanks techie wench....It seems illogical how someone in the same town as you could have faster mail then you. That makes no sense because its all coming from the same local post office. Idk it seems like their playing games almost.</p>

<p>electoralgoat i just got done with a research paper. It was so brutal because all I kept thinking about was getting a rejection letter. I feel your pain it sucks so baddddddd.</p>

<p>electoralgoat, i know a bit about art...i've attended an arts highs school for visual arts since seventh grade. if i don't get into nyu, parsons for fashion is my choice. it really depends on what you prefer. Animation requires high computer skills, creativity, social awareness, etc. Cartooning, well, that stuff moves fast...you've gotta be up with the times (social awareness again-shouldn't we all be, though?). The fine arts are so peaceful and therapeutic. That's more my style (plein air painting to be exact). Illustration is verrrrry competitive. Really. Also, I'm somewhat biased because, in 9th grade, I had a bad Illustration class. Putting that aside, you need to posess creativity, persistence, and patience. Well, I hope I helped. Just getting into NYU would be so much easier! Portfolio prep takes forever! Good luck!</p>
