O i meant deferred as in the admission office sends the applications they believe are possible candidates for the program to the Opportunity Office.
Those candidates will get an interview and the ones they like will be accepted to the program. The others will be rejected.
Not being deferred to regular admission.

This waiting is killing me- at this point I would love a letter saying I got LSPed. I actually think LSP would be better for me.

All this stress and the anxious wait is not helping me get ready for mid-terms. Ahh! Next week will probably be worse, I know I'm just gonna be cruising through these threads waiting for signs of either acceptances or rejections beginning to roll in. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to concentrate.

I can't concentrate. School is awful, all I think about is getting the mail. After getting the mail after school, all I think about is getting the mail the next day. Oh dear.

I rather know where I'm going now also =[. I don't wanna do this whole process over and wait again but LONGER till April. sigh

Well should our wait turn out to be for April (not saying it will be, lets be optimistic you guys!!!!) I don't think it'll be AS stressful. This I imagine will be the hardest, since obviously applying ED means that we have this as our first choice and all REALLY want to get in. At least that's how I see it.

UGH I KNOW! Maybe I'll just get my GED and be a starving freelance photographer in the city. Sounds awesome. In some ways.

rstlne, if I had a trust fund, I would totally do things your way, but I am too much of a fat ass to be a starving artist.

Just kidding.

Must be good that I have a trust fund, then! ahah I don't understand what they are, all I know is that I have one?

rstlne i suggest you delete that post; you just totally painted yourself as a vacuous rich kid

it means you have an undisclosed amount of money (unless the managers of the trust choose to tell you how much) coming to you sometime in the future.
guaranteed financial security, in a way, depending on how much is in the trust

A kid with a trust fund. But you dont know what that is. You should move to Boca... you would fit in nicely here.

It means that you will never be a starving artist, because sooner or later, someone (probably your parents, or maybe your grandparents) is going to give you a **** load of money.

calimarc, i can't delete it. :( i'm not really as vacuous as i may seem, it's just that my father won't ever talk to me about it. and i am no rich kid...flashy material possessions I have none. that's fine with me :)

Hey thanks roserows! I sent that in for my Tisch film portfolio. :) Did you subscribe? :D haha

Hey guys, I read somewhere in the NYU forum that they're going to be sending the letters out Wednesday and Thursday of next week. Just to give you an idea of when you should be expecting a big purple envelope!

actually wicked787, the envelope is white but the admissions folder inside is purple.

and they always state that things begin to go out during the second week so people don't start calling in when they don't get them. they've begun to come out and should arrive en masse around the 10th-11th.

eek! :) so close

so i got a mail from NYU!!!!!

and my heart jumped when i saw it

but it was just a stupid student newsletter

cmon nyu dont trick me like that
lol

ctc55- Are you serious? I am freaking out!

ihatesats- I got that too. Second NYU brochure in four days.
i think it's a sign that someone in the sky hates me.
