Official NYU ED thread!

stats? :((

my stats are 780 Math, 630 Reading, 630 Writing.
And 800 on both MAth 2c and Korean
gpa of 4.25 (weighted)

I don't know how i got in, but I am so glad that they accepted me!

Are you a native korean speaker...?

but really nice math scores!!

I am Korean..lol

Congrats to everyone who has gotten in!

Blah. I don't know if I'm going to be able to wait until Monday for a decision... And it's going to be the worst day ever if it's a rejection letter.

Did anyone who applied to CAS not get a letter yet?

Oh wow, we have very similar stats. I got a 800 math and 650 CR and I don't think they care for writing too much but I got a 700. I got a 780 on the Math 2 (very aggravating story involving my calculator not working for the first 15 minutes) :(. My GPA is also a 4.3 weighted. Perhaps a good sign!

how many people have been lsp'd as far as we know?

haha unfair!!! ... I thought you weren't supposed to do that but oh well haha it worked for you! congrats :)

I'm hoping my 34 ACT will help me!! haha

S. knows of classmate from another town and county who got her acceptance to CAS today. Nothing in the mail for him. (Tisch hopeful) He thinks that the rejections get mailed later. If so, and you are out there NYU - you are cruel. Mail everything together over a greater number of days if necessary. Since we know they have regional admissions officers and things are divided up already, there is no reason they can't do that. At least everyone would know their fate in a certain school at the same time.

Or mail the rejections first! For the kids who are still waiting (and now have 48 hours to wait!) and wondering if they should be looking for money and time to send in the rest of their applications, this is a wasted weekend. Fortunately, my son is completely preoccupied with a performance and school activities today and tomorrow and not lurking here and moping (I am doing it for him!) but I feel for all and hope that my son is wrong and good news awaits many more on Monday.

this is looking bad for all of us who havent gotten letters yet =( stay hopeful tho everyone

don't worry, if you notice most of the acceptance letters have come to the east coast, I'm in MD which is less than 5 hours away from NYC and I just got mine today.

i think the stern applicant should not be worried
hardly anyone has got anything and i doubt we all got rejected...

Anyone else apply to Steinhardt? I know frozenlight got her package today.

i applied to steinhardt, nothing today.

NWAR... I didn't get a letter yet.

i applied to CAS no letter

i applied to steinhardt, nothing yet. but i heard other international kids haven't gotten their steinhardt responses either so i'm just hoping i wasn't rejected

and i live in central jerseey...my sister found out on the thirteenth last year
